Course Curriculum Overview
I personally chose CSE because coding seemed interesting and also because of the future trends. Apart from CSE , the college also offers cources like AIML and AIDS and is planning to launch more emerging courses as well. The teaching methods can be improved by using hands on training methods , which helps students grasp the methods quickly.
Internships Opportunities
We do have internship oppotunities in our college which is paid(i am not sure) and the inetrnship starts after our classes everyday in 5th sem. But our college does conduct events for projects and training programs which is helpful to students.
Placement Experience
The placements in our college are average. The ones you see on college website getting 30LPA are off campus placements. Earlier good companies used to visit our college , but over time it has decreased but hopefully they might come if the students perform good.
Fees and Financial Aid
Per year the fees is 210000 for Comedk , for KCET probably it will cost less. Yes , we do have scholarship opportunities which students will have to register for in the 1st year itself. Excluding the course fee , we do get charged for VTU exams per sem.
Campus Life
The campus life to me personally is a joy , we do get a lot of time to enjoy in 1st year , after that of course life takes a turn with all the projects , internship pressure. The college conducts 'VISMAY' fest in June every year along with some small ones. Students do get to play for our college in sports like - kho kho , basketball ,baseball , cricket etc along with NCC is also there.
Admission
I was aiming to get into Dayanand sagar's management branch in CSE with design , but couldn't get into it because the cut-offs were high due to COVID and also because I didn't give my best. One can get into our college by writing KCET , COMEDK or by Management quota and SNQ.
Faculty
The faculty members are helpful when they are not buzy , but when it's high time(exams , reports & assignment submissions), it gets a bit hectic. The HOD of maths department - Natraj sir is a really chill teacher and he teaches amazing. About the internals , you can get good scores even if you study one night before the exam and externals are also easy if you know the concepts and prepare nicely.
Night Life
We do have a gym in the sports department which is available to the hostelers. After classes , we usually go and play or go sit in the cafeeria and have some snacks while relaxing and watching the views from our college. The girls are allowed to be out till 7p.m(extended) , meanwhile , there's no such restriction for boys.
