Likes
- College environment, infrastructure of the labs are too good and the college surrounding is better. There is a huge support for all the other activities like NCC,NSS Sports and Cultural events.
Dislikes
- Faculty are not that much proficient in subject teaching and also placement department is some how weak .
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is better but if it includes some basic changes with the new technologies then it will be much better. Curriculum includes real world technologies that are used to solve the real world problems so that why it's good. Frequency and timings of exams are good.
Placement Experience
For the final year students the placements will be eligible, companies visited are Snovasys,Lumen, Soti,Sap Labs. But no recruitment happened. Highest package is about 9 lakhs and average is 3-4 lakhs . Percentage of students getting placements will be 20, my plans is to work in a start up.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee structure(Tution fee) is about 35000 per semister if your under RTF otherwise if your management student it will be 1250000 per year.There will be no additional admission fee or any other fee for RTF students. Management students have to pay 5000 for all other fees.There is no any particular merit scholarships for students provided by the college to the students.
Campus Life
Annual fests will be Ecstatica and technical fests include Techvyuha, Inforium ,Mexodia, Parigrah ,these will be held yearly once. Institute has a wide library and availability of books is great. Classes include a project and normal board.Sports and extracurricular activities like NCC,nss are too good.Clubs include literary ,coding , Cultural events.
Hostel Facilities
Room consists of 3 members and each student is provided with a self, table and a chair. Fans and lights are provided and maintained properly. Meal rating will be 5 out of 10. Registration process includes after admission in college by paying the hostel fee the students will be accounted in a room. Vidyanagar which is neariarea where rented rooms will be available and the average rents will be 4k .
Admission
I applied to sv university,g pulla Reddy college and also jntu kakinada ,my seat is confirmed in the NBKRIST in CSE group and also I got a seat in mechanical engineering at sv but due to intrest regarding technology I have to choose NBKRIST college at Vidyanagar. Admission process will be if you qualified for EAMCET and got a seat then you will undergo a document verification program and then registration.Cutoff will be for oc 55k,for bc 70k,for sc 1lakh in ranking of EAMCET examination.
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio will be 1:50 around. Faculties are more responsible to the students while guiding.Professor Natarj Suresh is my best favourite faculty because he delivers valuable information to the students. There is no any particular faculty that are not good.There will be 2Semisters for a year and each semester will include 2 mid exams. Most of the students will get passed and curriculum is also better.
Interview Experience
No there is no any particular process for selection. The whole process is based on EAMCET rank. For management students college management will see the tenth and intermediate marks for selection of marks in 10th are 500 and above ,marks in intermediate are 900 and above will be a good chance for getting.
Night Life
College includes a gym too. My favourite area is my NCC room in sports complex where we used to have a great training. Hostel for boys will be open from 5-10 and for girls 8-5. From our college beaches are nearby.
