- I liked the course structure if someone studies the course in we'll organised form and do extra courses online it would be really beneficial for them.
- Hostel facility in Lucknow University is good.They provide all basic amenities there is washing machine induction geyser.
- Regular programmes, seminars are organised in different departments.one has to active and enthusiaste to attend those.
Dislikes
- Our course had less faculty teachers . Basically we have only three professors and those 3 taught the whole course students.
- Infrastructure is not upto the mark and the computer centre is not well furnished
- Our department didn't organised any seminars or workshops
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is very relevant and comprehensive it prepares you well for the job opportunities. The only improvement they require to do is increase their faculty members size and provide more practical knowledge. Lucknow University have semester pattern exam so exams are conducted every 5 months so be prepared also they do assignments and test on regular basis.
Fees and Financial Aid
We have to submit our fees semester wise. Since our course is self financed so the fees is a bit higher than regular courses. Per semester fees for bsc computer science is 13500/- and for other courses like bsc maths ,physics chemistry the fees is approx 6000/-per semester.
Campus Life
Sanskriti surbhi is the annual fests that is organised every year which showcases the talent we have in our university. There is a technical festival which is organised by our department techno . The library facility of our college is the best thing We have two libraries at University level One is central library called as tagore library where books and research papers are provided. The other is cyber library where we are provide computer systems with free data connectivity. There are many clubs like literature club drama club music club.
Hostel Facilities
If you're provided hostel facility please take it without any second thought. Hostel facility is very good , they provide 2seater 3 seater and 4 seater rooms and these rooms are allotted according to your rank in the entrance examination. hostel fees per year is 6500 and mess fees is 27000 The mess food is okayish sometimes they cook tasteless food Our hostel provide washing machine,induction and geyser which make living easy
Admission
I have applied for bhu and Lucknow University. I didn't receive any confirmation from banaras hindu University after first round and at the same time I got selected in Lucknow University for bsc course so I took it . In Lucknow University I have given their entrance exam in which I got 121 rank so I was selected on the first round and since I had good rank so I got hostel accommodation very easily
Faculty
Our department has only 3 professor and these 3 taught us all the 3yrs course and syllabus. The Course Structure is well structured. We have c and basic of computer system in sem 1 by which any one can start the course module easily without difficulty. In sem 2 we learn about python and other paper is practical. We also learn about software engineering ,data base management etc.
Night Life
Since I used to stay in hostel provided by our university. We can only roam around the campus till 8pm After 8pm we have to reach our hostel because our hostel gate shut after 8pm. Yes our university has many canteen all around the campus and we have gym facilities too But gym doesn't have much equipment. Campus is safe I never feel unsafe there . Thought our campus have a lot of dogs
