Course Curriculum Overview
Course covers the whole doamin of civil engineering. The corse duration is 4 years. The exams are divided in eight semesters, each semester of 6 months. The exams have two midterms and one external exams.
Placement Experience
Placements are currently poor in civil engineering department. But they are likely to improve as the level of education is keep on improving.With the addition of new faculties the betterment of the department is on progress.
College Events
1. Techfest ( it is celebrated every year and includes various technical competitions such as robowar and roborace). 2. Tarangini ( it is the cultural fest of the college and is also celebrated every year.)
Fee Structure And Facilities
Feasible It has two types of seats one is self financed seat which fees is about 62000 per year and also has government aided seat which fees is about 28000 per year. The government aided seats are allted to meritorious students.
Fees and Financial Aid
The scholarships are alloted as per the government schemes based on caste and merits. The loan facilities are also available as the bank is situated inside the college premises.The education loan rates are as per bank charges.
Campus Life
Extra curricular activities are promoted largely by faculties. Sports week is held every year in which various sports are played and also the college has various teams and they take part in various intercollege competitions. The labs are fully furnished and well equipped with equipments.
Hostel Facilities
Currently there are no hostel facilities in the college but the construction of girls hostel is under progress which might get opened next year or two years. The proposal of boys hostel is also under consideration.
Alumni/Alumna
It has a good alumni network. Alumnis have a Facebook group as well and also have a website. The continuous suggestions are given by them to improve the level of education and co curricular activities.
Admission
Admission in this college is through jee main entrance exam score. Further u have to fill reap form which asks for jee main marks and gives u a merit rank on your score and the college is alloted on reap rank.
Faculty
The current faculties are recruited from teqip and are post graduates from iits and nits. It also has faculties recruited as permanent faculties by the state government. The faculties are highly experienced and have vast knowledge.
