Course Curriculum Overview
Teaching is good. Weekly field visits are available. as well as geological toor for the final year students along with the faculty members. ICT class rooms are there and Departmental library is also present.

Admission Fee For research scholars, the fee will be paid in terms of semesters For OC and BC - 3000/- per each semester For SC/ST - 4000/- per each semister For hostel The deposit fee will be 7000/- for OC and BC 5000/- for SC/ST. And Pre-phd exam will be 3000/- and same for all the candidates
Campus Life
Provides an opportunity to meet different people from diverse background and social interactions inside and outside of classroms. Students get involvement in club that align with their academic interests, hobbies or carrier aspirations,. These clubs could be academic activities like debate teams like science societies, cultural activities like dance, music or service-oriented activities like volunter group, social justice clubs.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is good. The hostel rooms and wash rooms are cleaned daily by sulab staff. Food is also better. The room rent is 225/- per month. Mess bill is based on daily base. RO Plantation is also available in the hostel buildings. 4 separate hostel buildings are there.

Well-knowledged teaching faculty with the highest degree. Availability of Scholarship Hostel. Library, Digital Library, GYM, Dispensory, Sports. Good opportunity for the students to crack the Various competitive exams.
Faculty
I studied 5 yr integrated M.Sc in Earth Sciences and also Ph.D, the faculty is good and the concern of the professors on students is highly appreciable. I stood 1st in class (Gold medal)and got DST INSPIRE fellowship.
Night Life
The night environment of the campus is warm but in summer the nights are very hot. But in remaining seasons the climate is good, Hostels are safe and secure for women. It often provides a balance of entertainment options, ensuring that students can find something enjoyable .
