Normal Procedure as directed from Gujarat education board and took up as I wanted mechanical engineering and that too in a Govt College.Can't find much of any other reason but I always wanted to be a mechanical engineer as it fascinated me the very beginning.
Internships Opportunities
As I told earlier, government college do not always work, they have to be made to work and for that you need people who can take up the responsibility and work hard for the sake of students, during our term none of the industries visited. But off late some of the companies have shown interest in the students.
Placement Experience
Placements are null and even if some industries came they offer very miser. But the job opportunities as a mechanical engineer are many once you step into the outer world, but don't expect any thing from the college as you wont find any. Also many companies are there near by the college if you are looking for internships.
College Events
The college was established in mid 2000 Rs, so the college came to life at the end of the decade, festivals are good, many cultural and technical stuffs have happened and they are quite good to be very fair looking at the economic backing the organisers have.
Fees and Financial Aid
Not that aware about the scholarships as I didnt get any. But have overheard about the scholarships been given to students from backward classes and that too hefty amount other than it haven't heard about any other scholarships been given to scholars.
Campus Life
The gender ratio is good also the city has better gender ratio than the whole of the state, the extra curriculum is pretty good as well. The college has a big sports ground mostly used for cricket and football. and there's this sports event every 6 months that lights up every student.
