Review at ground level

I've chosen this college and respective branch based on my jee mains rank. As i have seen last few year trends, JEE Mains cutoff for MSIT has increased and it's 95%ile approx. for cse and it and 90%ile for ece branch. Admission process isn't that tough. Faculty is so supportive here so don't worry about admission process. If we talk about frequency of exams then one sessional exam is conducted in between the semester and one end term exam is conducted at the last of sem. as a final exam. Exams are always on time and sometimes before the expected time as well.

College provides inhouse summer training during semester break and students can do online intership as well. College doesn't directly provide any internship they will just guide to apply and will help to get selected.

Placement is better than other private colleges of Delhi as this college comes among the top 3 colleges of ipu. On campus placement is decent here for cse, it, ece as many companies visit college and offers a good package if you are well skilled. Off campus placement is much better than on campus here. I've seen my seniors getting 80LPA last year off campus. On campus highest package goes upto 40LPA and average nearly 8-10lpa for cse, it and 6lpa for ece. Placements for eee department is not that good as other branches have.

Tuition Fees - 139500 University charges - 20000 Alumni contribution fund - 2000 Security money -10000 and some other charges Above fees are only for first year (at the time of admission only) From next year, 10000 security money will be removed from the total fee i.e. around Rs. 160000 will be the fee from 2nd year onwards.

Fest is less conducted in MSIT. There is one annual fest and one tech. fest which are conducted yearly. Societies are active here but choose right depart. There is an interview conducted for different depart. of different societies. Try to make a diverse group here because students are good in different fields here.

I've opted for this college because after jee mains rank, i done counselling for ipu colleges and i alloted this college based on jee rank. MSIT comes under top 3 colleges of ipu that's why i preferred this college. Admission process is also so easy. After the seat allotment, you have to physically report at the college and college will you guide you further.

Faculty is so good here of all department. They are well qualified and almost all have done phd from premier institute. Exams are always on time and difficulty level of semester exams are of moderate level. If you're prepared on an average level then you will get good gpa.

MSIT is located in Janakpuri and it's great place for hangout and nightout as well. Surroundings of this college is neat and clean and it's near to janakpuri west which is the best place for nightlife and hangouting.
