My thoughts on my college

Overall, the curriculum offers a strong foundation for both further academic pursuits and real-world career opportunities. It equips students with the necessary skills to succeed in professional fields. However, now they are conducting semester wise exam which as important as annual exam so it will improve students knowledge. Teacher use to teach us with the from the book and using blackboard to explain and it was good. Class test use to happen weekly so we can revise what we studied.

I have completed BA from CSJMU kanpur. My fees was 3600 in first year then then 3700 in second year and 3800 in 3rd year. It includes all the charges. Also I didn't opt for hostel or facilities so it was ok for me. My friends also had to pay amount and if I talk about scholarship the 2 of friends applied but did not get it.

In our college we celebrate all the festivals they have different teams for each festival and who ever wants to join they can. Library use be open all the time so in our free we use to sit there and study academic books and sometimes newspaper as well. Classroom did not have digital board that time and they use to teach on black board. I was in NCC we more often we to go out with the captain so I never took part in sports.

I also applied for other colleges but I got my in the first merit list of my college and in other colleges I got my name in 2nd merit list which was published after I got admission. However, it was one of the best college in my region. To get admission I had to submit 10th certificate, 12th certificate, TC and migration certificate. In this, few documents were not available so they 3 months time to submit remaining documents. All the documents they verified and gave us fee slip where the admission amount and 1st year fee was mentioned so we paid and submitted the receipt and got our seat locked.

In my course we had 2 teacher for each subject, like one main teacher and one assistant. Relationship with teacher was good, because some teachers were very good in answering doubts. I don't remember any teachers name now because it's been long since I left college, but still I would say faculty of political science were great. Though our main exams were annually but still they use to conduct class test and half yearly test just to check the knowledge and improvement area of students. Question paper use to be moderate not too difficult and after exam we use to have discussion with teachers about exam. Course curriculum was very relevant in order to understand things and gain knowledge.

College was in my hometown itself so I never been to college in night, so I am not aware about nightlife. I use to come home follow my regular routine and then next day again college. However we didn't have hostel facility in college premises.
