Remarks
Positive remark is it's a government college with good faculty. Negative remark is it is located in hilly region a little far from any local villages and here the environment is very cold all the year mostly reach upto negative in January.
Course Curriculum Overview
Courses offered are B.sc. Agriulture, B.sc. Forestry, B.sc. Horticulture. Both the three courses are taught in 2 different colleges. As College of agriculture is in still under construction to built so the students of agriculture are studying in college of forestry only but the classes are seprate from forestry students
Placement Experience
A clear and honest answers "NO" As if you desire to take forestry the one thing you kept in mind is "go for your own business in forestry" there is nil placement college provide and as per for horticulture I think there will be some opportunity and for agriculture you know we even don't need placement we will do it ourselves So in Nutshell yeh there are very little placement. As a Agricture student I will say that you should definitely try for this college it is basically famous for Horticulture and forestry rather than "Govind vallabh pant university of agriculture and technology" B.sc. Agricture Couse is recently introduced in 2015 in our university so you see I am studying in the 4th batch of agriculture.
College Events
See college is not for celebrating events. One thing I want to clear you whether it is horticulture agriculture or forestry. You have to study hard very hard they are not easy streams. It's a professional college not a degree college if you will not study you will fail in 1st year only Only 2 to 3 events celebrate in our college that is Fresher, Kisan Mela, farewell, and some small events only. And if you want a college where many events are celebrated and all that so go and take admission in any other useless private college of dehradoon
Fee Structure And Facilities
It's a government college so obviously fee is very low. The first semester fee for all three degree courses is same that is Rs. 23405 and of 2nd semester fee is around Rs. 17220. You will find feed structure in college appendix during time of admission.
Fees and Financial Aid
The first thing you don't need a Loan because fee is very less. But if you want to take loan than you can very easily. But loan facility not avail by college you have to avail it from outside bank then they will give you a demand draft that will be submit in college bank.
Campus Life
Regarding Labs are awesome and our college have every lab for every couse. Sports are very less in our college of forestry but teams go for playing state level games students who are interested go for games. Extracurricular activities are NSS camp and all this happens
Hostel Facilities
Hostel are good actually new hostels are constructed recently so the hostel problem we had faced you are not going to face. Hostels are very near to college in college of forestry, Ranichauri but it is far from college in college of horticulture in BHARSAR , but college provide bus from hostel to college.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors are not good but no problem when you will come we will be yours senior and we promise you we will be helpfull to you in every study related problems. Regarding ragging I seriously tell you that you will not face any ragging problem in our college
Admission
I have given the Entrance Exam Test of university in month of June and I got the 13 rank and then I pursue for counselling which is in college of forestry Ranichauri Tehri garhwal where I choose B.sc agriculture
Faculty
Faculty of college is awesome and outstanding and hyper intelligent. You See 2 faculty are unavailable regarding agriculture students but for that university has provided guest teachers and they are also well knowledgable later on they will be replace by suitable faculty in some time
