Likes

The subjects that are taught are very useful.
Few faculty members are very helpful and are like friends.

Dislikes

Management issue is big issue. Like one day prior to exam we get to know that our exams are being postponed
No sports or much events organised by college.
Fees should be less by considering these factors

Course Curriculum Overview

The course i am studying is BBA-MBA in finacial services. And it is very useful for future. Financial services means banking insurance marketing ,etc. All this things are very relevant and has enough scope to build a career in it.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 80000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is 80000 per year for all three years, with no scholarships.But my college provides scholarship based on 12th std. Marks. If it is good then we can avail scholarship. However I was not eligibile for it as I don't have domicile certificate of Gujarat.

Campus Life

Well social events conducted in the college is not satisfactory. It is very limited. Also no sports event is conducted. Also there is no value for any kind of clubs . Talking about amenities ,my classroom is at 4th floor. Lift is available but it is in reparing for last 8 months now.

Admission

Well honestly speaking while I was searching colleges in Ahmedabad mostly every college has done with their admissions process. And I didn't had much options. So I opted this college. If I had other options I might not opted this college.

Faculty

Faculties are good. The teaching is also good. In whole year there are 2 exams. I liked my HOD. He is very co-operative also other facilities are also co-operative. But i feel college should persist with 1 faculties and just stop changing them frequently.

Interview Experience

No gdpi was taken for admission . Direct admission was made. But from this year the management has decided to take one written test. I am not sure about how it works as I directly got the admission. There is still no interviews kind of thing only a single test will be conducted.

Night Life

Well the local area is good and rich. There are multiple cafe's out there. Library facility is good at college also the campus is huge including canteen. Unfortunately no gym is available by the college.

My main reason for choosing this course was firstly the Simple BBA was not in that much demand due to the involvement pf technology in evry sector.due to this the course BBA ITM was best for the current times dur to the inclusion of technology and commerce and the curriculam was perfectly designed with the optimal mix of theory and practical applications of these knowledge by organizing events to back your theory and industrial exposure. The main area of improvement was recently covered by the collage by introducing more dynamic specialization like BI , digital marketing ,IT so thats all.the frequency and timing of exams are correct and the difficulty level of exams are close to 4 which can be high but its best

Placement Experience:

Campus placement varies between 4-8 LPA after graduation from GLS University. Almost 65% students gets the placement after getting degree which is still not bad for Tier 3 college. Campus placement also depends on Course you opted for and level of your skills. Companies like TCS, wipro, HCL, ICICI, Asian paints, and many more visited GLS University for campus Placement. Companies choose candidates from various Domains with certain rules and regulations followed by Universities guidelines. Candidate which has plan for MBA can also build strong foundation from choosing BBA course. But the overall packages still feels low as compared to living expense of today's world.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is not that what I expected to be I am more of the practical learning guy , but the faculties depending on their course are more of a lecture given type classes . The classes per subject are for an hour and the timings for the classes are accordingly given , their is two timings to attend the classes and their are two batch, morning batch and evening batch . The courses should be much of practical based and should be fun and interactive .
