- Campus is very big and beautiful 600+ acre the campus is lush green and you will be amazed by its greenery . Sunrise and sunset seems very beautiful in manit . The cultural fest of manit Bhopal is awesome those were the most enjoyable nights of life
- Academics of manit Bhopal is pretty chill for first year students.students are not detained in 1st sem even if they had less than 75 percent attendance and it's very difficult to fail in exams unless you have leaves your answer sheet blank
- Manit Bhopal is growing in pretty fast there is construction going of hospital inside manit campus by the help of manit alumni.manit alumni network is superb recently their alumni donated ebuses to college
Dislikes
- The only thing i dislike is students in 1st year are not allowed to join clubs which is horrible for students who wanted to explore. Also there are pretty strict restrictions on first year hostellers to go outside hostel they can't even explorecampus
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum for first year is same for all branches.from 2nd year we will learn about curriculum of cse . It would be better if they gave us options to not study subjects which is irrelevant for cse students like eng.graphics, eng.mechanics, beee seems time waste for cse students exam level is pretty standard. Follow almost trend as previous year papers and frequency of exams is okay but last one month of semester is pretty hectic both mid and end term are scheduled very close with just gap of 20 days
Internships Opportunities
I am in first year so I haven't explored for internship but companies came in internship in 3rd year which includes companies like google, flipkart etc. students in 3rd year can register for internship on campus
Placement Experience
Placement of cse department is best in manit Bhopal with 90% placement percentage and average package of cse is 20 lpa and highest package is 82 lpa offered by atlassian More than 100 companies offers placement in manit in both core and it including big companies like google Microsoft amazon flipkart came here for on campus placements
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearwise total fees for btech in cse for st category students in 1st year is 68300 including hostel fees . you have to pay 27500 yearly extra for mess food. I have paid till now total amount of 46900 in 1st sem in 2nd sem I have to 21400 out of which 18500 are hostel fees and rest 2900 are library and exam fee and other miscellaneous charges . At the time of registration we have to pay hostel caution money of 5000 which is refundable and onetime other fees (unrefundable) worth 8600 and 5000 caution money which is refundable and student activity fee worth 8400. Tuition fees for sc st ph or income less than 1 lakh is zero
Campus Life
Manit Bhopal cultivated an experimental environment to scholars combining academics with encouraging personal activities the students compromise from different parts of country making campus culturally rich A number of cultural , sports and tech activities takes place at manit eg sports meet,maffick cultural fest,tooryand(hindi mahotsav), techno search (tech fest) College has various clubs and societies like robotics clubs, coding clubs ,roobaro cultural society, photography society,nukkadnatak society,nss ,ncc etc and many more manit library is very huge and all types of books are available with very good reading areas
Hostel Facilities
Food of mess is pretty decent much better than expected with non veg on Sundays and some special foods there is study representative in mess committee which ensures students got best food from the available mess budget Hostel room are double sharing good enough for 2 person and has all basic facilities
Admission
To get admission in manit Bhopal you have to secure a good rank in jee mains and then you have to apply in josaa counselling and lock in your choices and pray to get your favourite college cutoff for cse in jee for general category is rank under 10000 for st category rank is less than 1000
Faculty
Faculty to students ratio in cse department is pretty good.cse department of manit has best student to faculty ratio compared to other branches.the first year coordinator of cse department is prof bholanath roy he is alumni of manit and has done his PhD from iit Bombay he is very approachable he usually comes to 1st year hostel to know about our problem and discomfort or lack of facilities in hostel.he also guide us how to study and motivate us to find solutions of problems by themselves. In 1st year all students irrespective of branches have to study same syllabus which includes subject like maths 1 ,eng. Physics, eng.mechanics, computer programming and problem solving, beee , eng.graphics, EVs, eng.chemistry, biology, communication skills,Phe,lsm and labs of physics, material science, language lab , computer programming etc Manit follows continuous evaluation out of 100 40 marks are internal based on assignment,tests,quizzes, attendance etc and mid term exam of 20 marks and end term of 40 marks According to our seniors you can pass easily your subjects in 1st year if you didn't leaves your answer sheet blank
Night Life
Non existent night life for 1st year hosteler boys due to previous ragging incidents not much restriction on girls curfew time for girls is 10 pm for 1st year boys it's 6 pm and that too after giving written application by approval from parents. Worst part of manit
