College Times

Positives: nice environment, foreign students in the college, healthy attachments & cost of living. Negatives: few misunderstandings between the locals & outers(it happens normally), college is on the highway & far for many students & it's time taking for me to travel.

Course curriculum of each department will be designed by the senior faculty of the respective departments. So, they make sure whether the syllabus is good & updated to the students or not & it's for the students who ultimately be satisfied with it. From our batch 2014 only they have started conducting 2 semesters in the very 1st year of btech & the pattern is like at first we go with internals & then External labs & external theory as well. It's like 6 subjects & 2/3 labs based on the years.

There are some good placements option for the students who are from the disciplines like CSE, ECE, IT & some other branches. As a civil or mechanical it's rare to be placed inside the college. But, internships gives equal opportunities for the students. For us ultratech took few days of workshop to make us aware of the subject. It's just like grasping the subject nothing paid to the student in that period by the company.

There were many events that we have celebrated in the college. It's like individual department events & college level events. But enjoyment is same like whatever the event will be. In college level we have a very big event called SELESTA which is a 3 day event. By department side we have SRASTA, ENGINEERS DAY & all.

As I said my batch is 2014-18, we had a decent fee structure in the college. But, by the time college got some reputation in the name of infrastructure, environment & ranked in top print media with some good ranks so, Based on those it was raised to a moderate fee.

In the college they don't provide any loan & all for the students to my knowledge. As I joined in the college with the entrance exam that was held by the government of AP. Based upon the marks & rank if students get qualified they pay a maximum of 35000/year to the college onbehalf of student by the government. The scheme we call as "FEE REIMBURSEMENT". If any fee in excess that should be paid by the student only.

We had many extracurricular activities & is based on the departments. Sometimes it's in between the departments. Labs are good & 90% of the equipments are in working condition. Which shows is a good sign for the students to work with. People in the college play good sports & college provides facility to play in & out of the college & allows for the tournaments that are taking place in other district or college levels.

Ofcourse, they will be in contact with faculty or to few students. Helping about the few scenarios they went through. They make students know about the works they had to in the college that helps in the future. But, it's decreased when compared to my 1st & 4th year.

Any can join in the college if they got qualified in inter or diploma and with a decent rank in the Entrance exam that is going to conduct by the government of AP. If not people can choose management seats which costs thrice to the normal student fee. I have done inter & took the exam of EAMCET which was by govt of AP. There I secured a decent rank & got the seat in the college.

In our college there are faculty who holds phd in the subjects, few where trying for it & many other faculties with masters degree in their respective subjects. So mostly they teach us in a very understandable manner & which makes things go easy for the students. Subjects with tough topics will be there but as a student we need to put some effort.
