Course Curriculum Overview
As the computer it field is leading the corporate world the course has a good structure. The curriculum is designed according to the real world and the course is relevant. As there are many new changes in the tech industry including ai and ml they should update courses accordingly
Internships Opportunities
The college provides on campus internship and students can also apply for off campus internships too new startups with less amount of employees gives the opportunity to the students for internship and provides a good amount of stipend.
Placement Experience
The students become eligible for the campus placement from the 7th or 8th semester of the degree. Companies like TCS and infosys are common visitor companies of campus placement and many others companies provides good package to the students. The highest package of 2023 was around 13 lpa where the lowest was 3lpa average package is around 5-6 lpa.
Fees and Financial Aid
It's a government college so it has a nominal amount of fees and the fees price varies from 1500 to 800 depending on the semester even or odd , there is a seat which provides free education to the highest rank admission.
Campus Life
The overall campus environment is good but not much tech fest are held at the campus. The library has its own block and has various types of books of engineering and other subjects which provides a good facility to the hostel students.
Admission
I did apply for the LD college but due to large time of traveling I applied for addmission in VGEC I chose VGEC as the first preference for my college and I've taken reviews from my relatives and other seniors about college.
Faculty
There are regular classes and the faculty members are very supportive no such trouble for individual students by the faculty and a good support staff and good services for the students from student section.
Night Life
The college has it's own sports block E Block which we call gymkhana and it has a canteen inside it and we can have our lunch there. It's a good hang out spot when there are no lecture in between. The college timings are 10:30AM to 5:15PM. The locality is safe and there are many places to hangout outside the college campus.
