- Infrastructure of main building is so poor. Its old building and ceiling of top floor is fallen down in many rooms.
- Placements/Internship opportunities is so less. In some departments, there is no placements opportunities.
- Library building is also poor. During Rainy Season, water drops is fallen from the ceiling.
Course Curriculum Overview
Personally, I do not like the course curriculum because there are no subjects which is demand in currently by the companies and private sectors. Also there is one drawback in exams, i.e. it makes so easy papers so mostly student can pass it, Due to this there is less development in students, Also its curriculum subjects has no proper syllabus means its syllabus is less than the actual subject.
Placement Experience
In my college, there is placements in some departments. But in some departments there is no placement opportunites. In my computer engineering department, there is less placement, but its decent placement. As per i have heard highest placement in my department was 4-5 lakh rupees. And there is very less number of students got hired. Majority Placement is in the chemical department of this college. So, students which is searching for good college with low fee and good placement oppourtinities for Diploma in Chemical Engineering can take admission in this college. Other department students have to search other good colleges first. My goal is that if i didn't get placement from the college, i will do internships in Ahmedabad as there is many IT companies in ahmedabad.

Campus Life
The campus is decent and it includes grounds for many sports like cricket, volleyball, kabaddi, kho-kho, badminton, etc. Also the organizes many annual festivals/events like Kheldili (Sports event), Technofest (Tech Event), Independence Day Celebration, Republic Day Celebration and many more. There is variety of books available in the library but there is chance of getting older edition. There is CCTV facility in most of the classrooms, but some CCTVs is not working. Overall campus life is good and decent.
Admission
I have applied for government colleges in Ahmedabad but i didn't get admission there due to low merit rank. I choose Government Polytechnic Gandhinagar college because here faculties and environment is good as compare to lower colleges than this, also its affordable as it is government college. I didn't get admission in better government colleges than this because of my low percentage/rank in Class 10th. There is some better government colleges than this which has more good faculties, infrastructure, etc. Also there is many private diploma colleges which is more far better than this college, but fees of that private colleges is very much which is not in my budget. I suggest other students to take admission in private colleges if it is in your budget. Admission Process of my college is to fill the Registration Form on ACPDC portal as per date (Advertises every year on acpdc portal). Then do the choice filling of the colleges as per your choices and the rank the college is assigned to the students. Then download admission letter after filling the choice confirmation fee and go to the college for Admission Confirmation with the all required documents.
Faculty
Ratio of faculty-to-student is around 1:40 which is good as per my perspective. Faculties behaviour is very good and its easy to approach. As per my perspective, i like every faculty by which i studied till today, I gained something knowledge from every faculty. Now, talking about course structure its vary from department to department. In general, there is 4 to 5 main subjects in every semester and other 1 to 2 subjects which have only internal practical exams. Exam systems till today (Per Semester): - 2 Mid Semester Exams (20 Marks Each for each subjects which has theory part) - Practical,Viva (50 Marks for each subjects which has practical part) - External GTU Exams (70 Marks for each subjects which has theory part) - Project (10 Marks per subjects which has theory part)
Night Life
There is no restrictions for hostelers to play or work in campus. In night, hostelers are not allowed to go out of the college from 10pm to 6am. General timing for college students and faculties is 10am to 6pm. There is no Gym facility currently, but there is a library which has much space for reading. Also there is canteen in which you get the decent food. Many hostelers walk at night in the campus.
Other Applied Colleges
government Polytechnic Ahmedabad | Diploma in Computer Engineering
Due to low rank, I didn't get admission in that College.
