Course Curriculum Overview
As far as we consider taht textbook knowledge is not the real world knowledge and that is 100 percent true. So in this case scenario, the college helped a lot and took initiatives for students to arrange industrial traiming as internships.
Internships Opportunities
The college gives wide opportunities to the students and give a small glimpse of industries by sending students to the internship. College provide open range to the students to opt companies for their internship. The college make small groups of students and provide a mentor to them hence they can give more timeband guidance to the students undergoing internship and helps them in making report. Students do internship in GHCL, Sutrapada, Gujarat. Meghmani Dyes Industries, Vatva, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Nirav dyes and chemicals limited, Vatva, Ahmedabad, Gujarat and many more.
Placement Experience
The college offer very good placements to the students. Students studying in last semester are eligible for applying in placements. Companies like Reliance industries, Nayara, Rubamin, Indian Rayon, etc. visit during the campus. The highest package is offered by Nayara of 400000 per annum, while the average package is of 250000 per annum. 60 percent of students are got selected who appeared for the placements. After getting defree I got placed in Reliance industries and qorking as an engineer.
Fees and Financial Aid
DDIT, Nadiad collects fees of Rs. 6500 per year for the course of diploma in chemical engineering. This fee is for government seats. The fees were to be paid on the starting of semester. It also includes examination fees along with lab fees and tution fee.
Campus Life
The overall experience of the campus life is very well. The infrasturucte of college is cery well maintained. There is very well maintained library for students. Also there is a very big ground for cricket and football.
Admission
DDIT is one of the best college in gujarat for diploma in chemical engineering. It was the first college to start teaching this course in Gujarat. Also this college gives best placements for diploma students as compared to all the other colleges in gujarat with a nominal fees. I only applied for this college and in first round i got the college. The admission of this college is done tgrough ACPDC site and the we have to come to college for our document verification process. All the faculties are supportive in admission process and helps in every aspects of the admission.
Faculty
The well qualified faculties are teaching in each and every department of the college. There are single teacher present for a single subject hence a single teacher teaches a single subject. All the faculties are well qualified and are easily approachable by the students. They give good guidance to the students. Thw college conducts 3 sessional examination in a single semester along with the external examination. Each sessional exam covers 33 percent of the entire semester and the external exam covers 100 percent of the entire semester. Each sessional exam is of 36 marks and the external exam is of 60 marks. The attendance in the class should be above 80 percent and the student with or above 80 percent of attendance is given 4 marks.
Night Life
After classes, students have area in front of canteen where they cam sit and talk. Also the campus opens at 9 in morning till the 6 in evening. The famous hangout places are " Tea hub" and "Dwarkadhish tea stall" near the college
