College review for NIT-BHOPAL

I'm in the first year currently and in the first year all the students of all the branches are being taught the same syllabus, soo currently I do not have much idea regarding the relevancy of my course which is Electronics and communication.

Intership and all other placement opportunities start happening around 3rd year and I'm currently in first year, i don't have much idea regarding internships, placements and all but would get to know around 3rd sem.

I'm in the first year currently and as I've told earlier I don't have much idea regarding placements and interships. But as per my knowledge the avg package of our branch that's ECE is around 16 lpa and % placed students is around 70 %

The total tution fee for all the 4 years is 500000, and per year we need to pay 125000, the admission fee is around 30k. And apart from them they didn't told me to pay any other type of fee related academics. If you are from general/obc with family income>500000 then no fee waiver would be given to you and you need to pay entire fee. I'd your family income<500000 then you need to pay only one third of the tution fee and if you are from sc/st then you are not expected to pay the tution fee as 100% fee waiver is given to you

The have cultural fest names MAFFICK which happened a few months ago and guess what it is central India's largest cultural fest. We have sports complex which is very huge and have a variety of equipments to play any kind of sport which you want to play.

We have double occupancy room in our hostels and room is pretty good, not that old.we have high speed ethernet support which you can connect to tha laptop. The meal quality of our hostel is not that good

I have secured an AIR of 16k in jee mains. So as per my rank I was getting a decent amount of college and decent branch in them. I applied in NIT BHOPAL cause I was getting ECE here,and it comes under top NITS also soo this was the major reason why I opted this college. I was also getting NITS like Trichy, warangal etc but wasn't satisfied with the Branch that was alloted

The faculty in our college is good. They are easy to approach, if you have any kind of doubt during the class then you can approach them easily after the class. The only faculty whom I liked the most is our engg mechanics teacher named,Neeraj tiwari. His way of teaching mechanics is fabulous. In a semester we have 3 kinds of exams namely, mini test,mid sem,end sem. And out of these three excluding the first one, the other two carries higher weightage. The exams are not too difficult as if you have decent prepration then you can easily score well in the exams

Gym is there in our college but it is not allowed for first year students to walk inside it. Library is also there and you can study there at any anyday. The hostel timings is around 9 pm. The most famous places near my college includes van vihar, lake view, tekhri
