This college is one of the most reputed and old colleges in banglore which has literally every course for all kind of aspired students. Be it school, pu, college, dental, bbm, mba, believe it or not there are 16 branches of engineering which you can choose from
Course Curriculum Overview
When i joined back in 2014 the college comes under VTU, but we are the last batch for that, in the year 2015 the college became autonomous. The course includes 3-5 internals exams almost every month in a semester and minimum of 85% in attendance.
Placement Experience
Amost 100 software companies come to the college every year but unfortunately there are very less core companies that comes to college, even if they come they recruit single digit students, as I'm a civil engineer still i got placed into accenture which is a it company
College Events
This is one area which college excels completely. There are ton of events that run through out the semester. Events include flash mobs, vibration, fests, individual branch fests, fashion shows, arts and dance
Fee Structure And Facilities
As I got admitted through comedk which is especially for outer state students the fees is very expensive. For each year college charges me around 1.8 lakhs and 1 lakh for hostel so include everything that's almost 15 lakhs for entire course
Fees and Financial Aid
Government provides scholarships for reserved category students which means I'm getting 0 rupees as i belong to general category. Of course you can easily get loan from any bank without interest upto graduation
Campus Life
One word for this - excellent. We have one of the finest and biggest library, best equipped laboratories big football ground, basket ball, lawn tennis, we have each and every instrument in labs and you can play sports whenever u want
Alumni/Alumna
Yes but that completely depends upon with whom you talk and seek help with. With my experience most of the seniors are very friendly and helpful, they helped us in taking better decisions like opting optional subjects or chosing career
Admission
As I'm not a native to karnataka there's a exam called comedk, which is especially for other state students. I've secured 88 marks that exam. There's counseling just after 2 weeks of results, I never had much passion about civil engineering, but for my rank 9532 this is only one of the top college i got.
Faculty
It's kinda mixed baggage, some are excellent with good knowledge others doesn't know much about there own subject. But any ways there's a ton of study material that's available in the library as well as xerox shop.
