- There are well equipped Labs(CS, EC,VLSI and Robotics lab)
- Well qualified teachers. All teachers have P.Hd degrees in their respective field.
- Beautiful and well managed campus and playground.
Dislikes
- Frequency of exams. There are 3 assessment and a endsem exam with mid and end exams of labs.
- The boys hostel is 1km away from campus.
- Mess food is not good. It can be more better.
Course Curriculum Overview
As we all know IIITs are running on new curriculum. We have lab practicals after completing theory in the classes.the teaching method is good according to me. The exams are too frequent. According to me there should be only one midsem exam instead of 3 assessment .And a end sem exam Midsem and endsem exams are enough according to me.
Fees and Financial Aid
Total fees for 1st year is around 350000 Per semester fees is as follows Tution fee -110000 Examination fee -2000 Gymkhana council fees -2400 Hostel fees-12000 Mess and miscellaneous fees-40000 Fees is same for all categories. There are scholarship opportunities like NSP etc.
Campus Life
There are annual festival and Technical fest known as AHUBA. There are frequent function organised by the college. The library is well equipped. There is every book you need with a good no. Of quantity. There are sports tournaments also apart from these there are interested IIITs tournaments also. There are social clubs and groups to you can easily find many students with similar interests .
Admission
My college, Indian institute of information technology senapati, Manipur is a government institute, Institute of national importance . As you all know IIIT have its onn market value. To get admission in IIITs you need to clear cutoff of JEE Mains exam conducted by NTA. After which you have to participate in the JOSAA or CSAB counselling .
Faculty
Roughly the student is to teachers ratio is 1:30. Faculties are good in nature and available most of the time If any student have any problem so he/she can directly meet the faculties in their respective cabins. I Like Borah Sir most. Hello is our electronic circuit analysis professor . His teaching skills are too good. Let's talk about exams There are 3 assessments held every month and an end sem exam Alongwith the midsem and endsam exams of labs. Exams are moderate.
Night Life
I used to play volleyball in the campus after classes. It's quite relaxing. Our college timing is 9:00am to 5:00pm with a 12:00pm to 1:00pm lunch break. Hostel gates closing time is 8:00pm There are many places to hangout outside the campus like D4 cafe, Deepak hotel,Devrana restaurant.etc etc...
