Actually, I took economics as my course. I am in the department of economics and the school of business studies and planning. I loved this course and I am curious to learn more about economics than I learned in intermediate so I am studying here that IMA economics

College Events

In our college, they are celebrating through departments. every department will celebrate on their own. so my department also we have one fest called eco-club. we will celebrate every event through this eco-club. our university will also have farewell day every year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Yes we have fee structure. first we have to pay one admission fee that is 5000 rupees and also eco-club fee 200 rupees. we also have to pay hostel fee that is 6800 rupees and also hostel mess fee 7500 rupees. this fees also depends on caste.

Fees and Financial Aid

No still now I didn’t. I am trying outside for scholarship because in our college they said they will provide scholarship only for domicile students.

Campus Life

Very good. they are also through departments only as I am in the economics department. our eco-club will see all such kind of things like debates, jam, etc. yes, we also have sports, labs, and also we have open gym. we have the right to go there.

Hostel Facilities

It’s good. one thing is that the hostel is very nice in every room there are 4 members so we are adjusting very much. they have given us cupboards, study tables, beds I mean cots. very nice accommodation we got. I am very happy.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, every one in our college are very good. all our seniors will mingle with us. actually our college is Malayali dominated college. that’s not an issue because they are very good especially alen is very good.

Admission

Cucet exam in through this website, I get to know about this college, so after that, I attended the exam, after that I got marks, that is 33.5, after that, I came to counseling, I got selected, they gave admission for me, after few I joined in this college.

Faculty

They are very good. I love all our faculty because they are teaching us very perfectly so that’s why I am learning more here. our math economics sir is very funny, he also teach very nicely. our classes are going on, every faculty is very good, so I like this college

A good college for starting your new journey

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible to sit for placement in their final years. The companies which comes for the placement are deloitte, goldmanSachs, amazon and many more reputed companies. And they do make many offers. The highest package reports around 30 LPA and the average goes on around 3 to 4.5 LPA. Around 70-90 percent get placements. My plans is to pursue higher studies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a bachelor of arts degree in criminology, psychology and english optional. The branches of criminology and psychology are upcoming in India in the present time. Course taught is revelant and in present. It is regularly updated. I chose tge course mainly due to criminology. Various aspects of the subject is covered in 6 semesters such as forensic, ballistics, cyber, laws, victimology etc. They do take us on field visits. There is one mid sem exam and one final exam. There is record work as well as assignments given at regular interval. The difficulty level is medium.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements towards the final semester of their course. Currently, I have only been using the help of my faculty for internship opportunities, since I am not looking for placements. But they have connections with big names in the communication sector, and they often have personalities coming in to give talks and interact with the students. A great number of students opt for placements and approximately 90% of them do end up getting posted at really good companies. Others choose to continue with higher education. My plan after receiving my degree would be to take up a diploma in literature in the UK, while simultaneously finding myself a position at a good publishing house there.

My college experience

Placement Experience:

From my seniors, I hear that 20/30 % of students from our college get placed. But now being in my final sem I know the reality. For covid and lockdown, the placement sector has been badly hit. Only a handful of companies came this year (5/6 companies). 4/5 people from our batch are placed but no placement for the big chunk of people. From 5th sem students become eligible for placements but in 5th sem, no company came to our college for placement this year. Only in the 6th sem, the placement cell started. Companies that visited till now ( some of them came to take interns and didn't offer full-time jobs) 1) Clevertize, 2) Social Panga, 3) Robert Bosch GmbH, 4) Saatchi & Saatchi, 5) Publicis, 6)PR Pundit, 7) McKinsey, 8) Edsol Edtech, 9) Momo Media, 10) MSL, 11) Genesis BC, Offers: 1.5-3 LPA (average). I plan to send CVs personally to companies through LINKEDIN and other job search platforms because the college hasn't provided us with good placement offers as claimed.

I applied for a few Central University based on my entrance marks. But i couldn't able to make into other colleges due to shortage of marks.
