Pros and Cons of Autonomous College

the curriculum was good beacuse it is updated every 3 years according to latest changes in real world . beacuse of this excellent factor our college has unique place. i suggest to improve in areas of keeping latest techonolgies rather than old traditional ways mainly in machine learning course which is fastest technology growing these days. timing is perfect according to timetable and difficulty level is avg for internal exams

there are almost 30 companies which provide placements at our college like oracle, Amazon , Infosys, Microsoft, Accenture, Cisco, Paypal and so on. coming to projects there is EPICS project in 2-2 sem and Mini project in 3-2 sem and major project in 4-2 .

currently iam studying 3rd year of btech which has fees of 662000 per year and registration fees is almost 6000 and fees is same for every categories .then scholarships are provided from government and also some scholarships which are merit cum need like "north south foundation" and "Siddhartha Sahaya scholarship"

there will be a annual fest which is AFOSEC which stands for Annual festival of Siddhartha Engineering college and it is conducted for 2 days one for technical and other for cultural.other than this there are many fest conducted like freshers,VRSACM tech etc.coming to library it was very huge and there are thousands of books available at library which are academics,general. sports are excellent feature in our college and recently our college team bagged in 2nd place in JNTUK inter collegiate chess tournament. cultural club and sports club are also there at our college

according to my eamcet rank i can get every college other than universities but i always wanted to study in vr siddhartha college because of its infrastructure and facilities over there . it is the first college i applied and i got selected in first round too. when i was joined it was done based on eamcet rank but in this year it was elected as university so from this year admissions they were going to conduct an exam so admission will be based pn this and also from eamcet.

the faculty at our college is great and their relationship with students is also great. i personally like Chandrakala mam who teaches machine learning because of her effort in teaching . i like almost every faculty.there are 4 internal exams for every theory subject and one for practicals. they were somewhat easy but semester end exams were a bit difficult.only in tough subjects more students will tend to fail.

there is no gym at our college but it is there in college hostels.cafeteria is somewhat good and at reasonable prices. there is a place callaed kachapi for students to hang out and campus timings are 8:30 to 5:30 and hostel gates are closed after 7pm for the safety of students. it is absolutely safe to hangout at nights.
