LIFE AT GEC MODASA

I want to be full stack developer. So i chose this course.this course is similar to Computer engineering but little bit different. I dont feel that this curriculum help too much in real world applications and in any other field. Because these curriculum are implemented for only implementation purpose. Their is no outcome. Some area that need improvement like tour to companies and understanding Roles after the course you get. Like most of students don't know what they do after completing degree. Exam timea are very gluttered. They are always apper in festivals. And most time before 1 week of exams , exmas are rescheduled. Difficulty level is moderate.i think clearing this exams help you to prepare syllabus for Gate exmas

From 7th semester students can eligible for campus placements. Only few students get campus placements. About 30-40.in my course. It is difficult to get placement. Wipro , xavier consultancy firm, ruskar technology pvt. Ltd, suphhir pvt ltd. Xavier consultancy not offered placements to any student. Highest package is about 6 lakh and lowest about 2.5 lakhs 30 % students get placement per departments. My plans is too become fulk stack web developer. After degree i will not sit in placements. I need more time to expore thinga at corporative companies

Yearwise fees are around 3000 INR per year . Tution fees are around 800, no registration fees , admission fees are 500, lab fees 125 rs. Gymkhana charges 100 , student welfare org. Fees are 100rs and others are miscellaneous. Girls have to pay 0 tution fees and others are compulsory [same for Tfws] students.Most batchmates are from OBC category. And Boy girl ratio is aroud 65:35 . Scholarships available: All digital gujarat scholarships and Mysy scholarship such as Pm-yashshvi , food bill , instrumental and Dnt-89 for all categories except General category.criteria for merit is income lesser than 600000.

Annual festivals are tech-fest. Mostly they are celebrated at end of semester. Library is not too much big. But you can find many books related to courses.And some books for preparation for exmas after B.tech. Facilities are like projectors , computers , smart lab where you can use laptos. Sports and extracurricular activities are not too highlighted. Not too much students involved in it.

Room is for 3 students. Facilities: 2 fans , 3 tubelights , 3 tables , 3 chair , 3 beds with bedshit. And 4 big socket for charging and using gadgets. 3 inbuilt locker for cloths and private items. Meat quality is average. Menu is simple. 2 times a day with rice and chapati and different 2 subjis. 1 is oily amd 2nd one is nuts. Registration process: through hostel form provided by recteros.fee is 1500 per year for room and 2500 INR per month for meal.

I applied in many colleges like LDCE. GEC GANDHINAGAR. VISHWAKARMA COLLEGE, DDU NADIAD.Gec palanlur. I got confirmed admission in gec Palanpur. i chose gec modasa over gec palanpur because palanpur is too away from my home . About 200 kms . And gec modasa is at 1/4 distance from palanpur. So , finally i chose Gec Palanpur. I got rejection from Gec gandhinagar ,vishwakarma and ldce , ddu nadiad. because i am unable to match merit ranks of that colleges. Admission process of Gec modasa is simple. You need to go through ACPC website. Its about 3 weeks process for selecting any college under Gtu. Cutoffs are about 78.

Faculty to the students ratio is about 70 students per 1 faculty. Relationships between students and faculty are good enough. Teachers are approachable. In my department Teachers are very supportive and helps you in each and every field.I liked R.N .vaja sir most. Sheetal ahuja madam is also very supportive.name of teachers I don't like are : ramesh patel sir , bhayani sir and Dilip sir. These teachers are very rude . Always scolds students and viva of these teachers are very hard.there are 2 exams per semester. One is at college level and 2nd one is at university level.In mid exams 50 % students fail and university exam about 20% students fail. 1 Re-mid exma is also conducted after Mid exams. These exma is specially designed for students failing in Mid exmas

No i didn't face any group discussion. Citeria is simple. Cross merit rank. Admission process is through ACPC . 3week process. Yous should go through all colleges and detail about last year merit rank and hostel availability

Nightlife is too much better than daylife.Gym is builted for only Boys and also form donation of boys. We can go for hangout at night uptill 10 pm . After that hostel gates are closed. There are many hotels near campus And also a small theater named Atlanta multiplex. Hostel timing are start from 6 am to 10 pm amd school campus closed at 6 pm. Famous hangout places are Atlanta sports and helipad near to the sports ground.
