Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course curriculum was outdated in 2020 Like in computer there was a subject visual vasic which is not relevant now m, they should have included computer languages like java, python etc now its available for our juniors But seeing statistics as a subject keen my interest. 1st yr was all online but in 2nd yr they made us do surveys which I think help to communicate to strangers. And some languages like R language is well known for its application despite it being not in our course they taught us basics In computer too although some subs were outdated but c and c++ is still relevant and createa a base for furthur language studies. The exams were of 3 hrs, it were not that difficult if prepared well and happen only once a year. But it goes for 30 to 45 days atmost with so long gaps.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure goes like this for faculties mathematics, computer and statistics including admission and laboratories fees, etc. 1st year (2020-21) : 10270 2nd yr (2021-22): 9670 3rd yr (2022-23): 10320 Fees may differ for different faculties and subjects They provide scholarship for EWS My friend of my faculty got scholarship in her 1st and 3rd year 1st yr: 12000 3rd yr: 7000

Campus Life

3

There are no such annual festivals Only freshers and farewell happens with the contribution of students Some times some programs does happen but many students were unaware of it because it was not much promoted But they do collaborate with different organization like TCS, and for extra curriculum like karate, etc international collabs happens workshops are provided by them if student insists Rozgar mela happens yearly. There is one central library and each faculty buildings have there own dept library In Central one ,one can issue the books but many books for underrated subjects are difficult to find On other hand dept libraries have quiet the range but can't borrow from there Politics like students elections happens regularly although it causes much disturbance due to all advertising but these groups helps students in need and voice out our problems to administration.

Admission

I took 4 exams, JEE, UPSCEE, BHU and MGKVP Got selected in UPSCEE and MGKVP but took admission in MGKVP as it as close to my resident due to covid I decided nearby university. Couldn't pass JEE and BHU maybe I wasn't prepared to that level but I didnt want to take a drop so I took admission in mgkvp Admission process is really simple Application form are provides for quite a good amount of time, for it you have to visit mgkvp website and fill out the form they provide dashbords for all students And the websites even has many e materials and pdfs related to course. Cutoffs differ everytime according to no. of students and level of exams.

Faculty

We have different faculties buildings for science, commerce, arts, psychology and law students In 1st year the communication between faculty and students was not so good due to covid but by the end of 3rd yr it became better. All faculties infrastructures are really good but best one is commerce Science faculty being associated with innovation and technology doesn't look like it at all although overall the teachings are good but some teachers tend play only slideshows during lectures. I have 3 main subjects Maths, Statistics and Computer and each main subjects have 3 subjects so there were totally 9 subjects We were promoted in 1st yr due to covid so give our exams in 2nd year (we have exams on yearly basis but now it's semester) We have to give 2 other additional subjects which was compulsory and we have to pass it Environment studies and Rasgtra gaurav So it were total 11 subs in 2nd yr In 1rd year we've to drop 1 sub ( I dropped maths) So it were total 6 sub in 3rd yr The exams were not that difficult, but some students did fail and have to give back The course curriculum in our time was not relevant but it was updated for semesters students So Now it's going according to current NEP.

Night Life

3

My favorite spot is library, its very quiet and peaceful During cloudy days, visiting gardens really helps to relax after along day. Hangout spots are usually crowded l, but its fun there and food and snacks are tasty and quite affordable I don't stay in hostel but my friend does we visit them very often The new building has very good infrastructure and they provide free wifi clean bathrooms washrooms and common room. One has to register there names every time visitng hostel. No boys are allowed in girls hostel. The campus is ragging free, seniors are really friendly and helpful, and it safe and quiet in campus ( apart from elections) The university is near the bus stand and railway stations, makes it easy to commute, there are many places to hangout even outside the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

According to me you should choose Brahmanand College but as I wanted more practicals then theory work but it is not like that here because you get more time to study and practicals were less .Exams' timings were sometimes morning, afternoon so you will have to manage yourself accordingly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'd rate the curriculum 4/5. Topics like programing and data structures are super relevant.it prepares us for tech roles, but could include more hands on projects and industry tools. More focus on emerging tech like Ai /ML would be awesome. Exams are semester wise and okay.areas for improvement: internships, coding challenges, and guest lectures from pros. Solid foundation overall !

Course Curriculum Overview:

As the faculty teachers and all the staff was very good and the faculty teachers of the science were very fabulous in education causes me to choose this course... The curriculum here was in terms of social interaction was ok but it was not that good for the future real world academic pursuits as their were not that much activities for the social appearance... In terms of course curriculum and teaching method this college doesn't need much improvements because it is much better according to teaching method , as the teachers were good in terms of teaching... The timing and frequency was having much gap between one semester exam and the other semester exam , so there were not much difficulty in giving exams according to my perspective...
