College Details

Negative is they have 85% attendance. Its not negative but many students find it bad. This much attendance we didnt had in school too.hahahah. but ya overall i had a decent fruitful enjoyable days in Nirma.i will never forget those 4 golden years of nirma which taught me to become what i am today.

Nirma is well known for its curriculum and the teaching learning process. They have the best facilities in terms of what students require. They provide require support in terms of education and latest books by well known authors. Basicalls exam structure includes 3 main things. One is class test which is usually after 1 month of semester starting date. Class test is of 30 marks. Passing marks is 12. Then there is one midsem exam of 50 marks. Then at the end of semester there is SEMESTER END EXAM(SEE). Also there are innovative assignments / term paper and mini/major projects from 3rd semester which are very good and helpful if done properly.

Placements are also good in Nirma.Best placements are of CS, IT and Chemical. In other branches also placements are good but not as of said above.average package in chemical engg is 3.5-4 LPA. Companies coming for chemical engg graduates are Reliance, HUL, THERMAX, DCM SHRIRAM, TATA CHEMICALS, SAINT GOBAIN, GSFC, GNFC,Etc. There are mass recruiting companies like TCS, INFOSYS coming for placements. Companies do provide internship opportunity in some branches like IT, CS, EC, IC but not in my branch ie Chemical.

As college are well known for the events they celebrate, Nirma is most famous for many events which they organize every year. They also call Stand up Comedians like Zakir khan, Biswa kalyan Rath. Also there are musical night organised almost every 2-3 months by different clubs like ISTE, RCNI, etc.

Fees i can say its expensive. The fees per semester is around 90k per semester. But in terms of facilities they provide and education they provide , its worthy. We can develop our all around growth and developm ent but it all depends on how you utilise such facilities. There are many different clubs which can enhance your different skills and make you appear different from others.

They provide zero interest education loan facility. Also they provide scholarship to top 3 meritorious students every year. Tye top of them gets 100% fees waived off, 2nd gets 50% fees waived off and 3rd gets 25% fees waived off.

There are different grounds for different sports.we have cricket ground, football ground, basketball court, volleyball court, badminton court, Lawn tennis court, etc. Its all depend on how u use. Labs are also good. I will not say that they have all latest equipments in lab but ya all the equipment they have are enough to learn something new and to carry out new experiment.

There is no hostel facilities for Btech. However there is hostel facility for Mtech and MBA. Hostel are also very hygienic and good infrastructure. We have both Ac and non Ac rooms. Also the canteens are different for hostel guys so that they dont face any problem.

Alumni members are very helpful. We have regular interaction with alumni. Also every year meeting is held in college where they call alumni and encourge young students to inspire them and to have them have good future by providing their valuable inputs.

I got admission in college through ACPC in 2014. My ACPC rank was 2094. So i was shortlisted in the merit list for IC engineering. Then once i finished the joining process, there was spot round and then my branch got updated from IC to Chemical.

Nirma has the best faculty in terms of knowledge and experience. Not saying that all faculties are good but most of them are well qualified and are well known personality to provide good education to students.
