Course Curriculum Overview

5

I chose this course because I always wanted to make medicines which can solve bigger problems in future. This course allow us to be industry ready and be able to prepare medicines which are upto the standards. The only thing I would suggest to improve is that in the lab when we make medicines and drugs I didn't get to experiment on anything to see if what I did is hundred percent accurate or not. The timing of exams are really good as just after the syllabus is done and we have prepared it the exam happens so we are ready for it

Fees and Financial Aid

Annual fees of B-Pharm is 125000, registration fees was 5000, lab and other charges including the bus travell is included in the annual fees. My batchmates are doing D-pharm of which fees is 100000. There are few financial aids for students such as UP and National scholarship which is provided based on performance during the year.

Campus Life

5

There are various types of festivals celebrated in the college which includes cultural fests from every religion and those are celebrated whole heartedly. The books in my college Library are upto dates which makes learning new technologies and ways faster to adapt to changing world order. Our college includes most sports and their tournaments every year such as cricket, chess, badminton, hockey, football etc. there are few clubs too such as enviornmental club and sports club who does their jobs really well.

Admission

I applied for Shree Satya college in moradabad for BAMS course where I wished to pursue ayurvedic medicinal treatment which was also my childhood dream but I didn't get to go to that college because of financial problems at those times

Faculty

5

Faculty members are really nice and honest they support the students at every step of the way even though the student to faculty ratio is about 500 to 50 which is quite low but they handle it really well. Some teachers I really liked are mrs. Pooja malik who teaches us industrial pharmacy and miss Tahira Sultan who teaches us physiopathology. I didn't disliked any teacher in particular because everyone is really nice. Exams are conducted in 4 parts as ct 1,2,3 and finally main annual semester examinations then practicals are held for observing student's overall learning during the year

Night Life

4

Our college has a cafeteria where really tasty food is served along with snacks and deserts. The nighlife of our college is really strict as you're not allowed to leave certain areas at night and roam around the college for no reason. One of the most famous hangout place in our college is the lovers point or Surya park where many students can be seen chilling and eating lunch.

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college are average, not very high but some companies do visit every year. Students become eligible for placements from final year, mostly from 7th or 8th semester. Companies are not very big mostly local or mid level pharma companies come. Some roles offered are like production, quality control and marketing. Highest package is not very high, around 3-4 LPA and average package is around 2-2.5 LPA. Percentage of students getting placement is not very high, maybe around 40-50% approx. Many students prefer to go for higher studies or try off campus jobs. My plan after completing degree is to look for job in pharma field or maybe go for higher studies depending on opportunity. Overall placement is okay but needs improvement.

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is average, not very high but also not too bad. Students become eligible for campus placement from 7th semester. Some companies visit the college but not many big companies comes regularly. Companies like small pharma companies and local companies visit and offer roles like production, quality control and sales. The highest package is around 3–4 LPA and average package is about 2–2.5 LPA. Number of offers is also limited and not all students get placed. Around 30-40% students get placement from campus, rest students have to search job on their own or go for higher studies. College gives some support but not very strong placement help. Because of this, many students including me are planning for higher studies or preparing for competitive exams to get better opportunities. Overall placement is okay but need improvement.
