Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is great even after giving two sessional test student is that much confident to give university exams. Their are many project labs which are very different from theory and are very interesting. The exams are conducted every month for better results
Internships Opportunities
I really don't know abt the internship criteria here because I m just in second year. I only know that internships are provided in Third year. I just knowthat the college is good for internships too. In third year students got one month for their internships only before the starting of last year.
Placement Experience
The placements start in 7 semester just when student is in their fourth year. Infosys amazon Flipkart tcs and many other companies come for placement and they are the mass recruiters of the college Around 80% students are getting placed every year. The highest package was around 50 lakhs last year
Fees and Financial Aid
So the fees for first year btech is 1,41,000/- which doesn't includes the examination fees of Aktu that is 7500 For second year it is approx 1,20,000/- for all the branches of btech . Same goes for third n fourth year. There is no difference in fees for any category. There are many scholarships which are provided in the college issued by the government which are divided by categories and low income students. Overall the college is good. I am in second year and it is one of the best clg in aktu.
Campus Life
Their is no annual or technical fest kinda thing in this college. It is very boring and nothing is done for freshers except the freshers party which is not at all good. The library is good and all kind of books are available. Even library is available in hostels too Yes the college is excellent in sports . And sports event took place every year. College students also take part in zonals and states level sports. This year the college got overall 25 gold medals , 12 silvers, 8 bronze medals
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is not up to the mark. You are provided with a bed, a table, chair , 1 almirah. Bedsheets n pillow cover. Food quality is very bad Registration is done in college after you get admission. Their are many pgs available near the clg but not safe for girls.
Admission
I got admission in galgotias university, GL bajaj, Kiet, Niet, Upes, Kiit. But I chose akgec because of its placement and academics And my friend was already in that college so it was very easy for me to know abt that college. She told me about different things in the college, the tifac section which considered of different labs very fascinating. Their are direct admissions in college , JEE mains score and 12 result is accepted,management section is also there.
Faculty
The faculty is very good. However some are very strict and you cannot have a friendly bond with them. But sone are very good and very approachable even if you a doubt you can go to their cabin for asking. The best faculties are of cs department. Ece department has the most strict faculties. There are 2 sessional test in every sem, one pre university exam and then the final university exams
Night Life
Their is a gym in hostels, utility for your daily needs, and library too. Hostel intime is 4pm for first year n increases every year by half an hour for 2,3,4 year. Their is no such place as in to hangout here
