I personally like this course and also by the guidance of my seniors I was influenced to take this course curriculum is good and it provides a real world applications and further academic persuits. course includes Indian constitution ,scientific values of Health and professional writing skills in English and also Kannada regional language subjects .course at end has 100 marks out of 50 comes from last semester exam and other 50 from internals . internals is of 2 test and of 2 quizzes each test has 50 days of gap

For 3rd semester students become for campus placements Mini companies Lake Infosys TCS Mahindra Suzuki LNT Turbo Ashok Leyland Hinduja group come for placements highest package offered was 42 lpa percentage of students getting placement depend about the steam they are studying good number of placements are in mechanical engineering stream when talking about the offers given in terms of money IT is good I personally plan about masters after my

I paid 32000 fees through counseling process,as i got my seat under snq quota under Kcet counseling. I also paid 16000 as tuition fees in college. No other fees was requested from college . Through scholarship from state government[ ssp ], i was supposed to get 20000 [ irrespectiveof merit], but till the endof my second semester, still I didn't get that. But from central government scholarship i got [nsp] 10,000. One of my friend got seat under sc st quota for just Rupees 750/- . Tution fees for him was 45000. One friend got seat under normal obc or general quota for 120000 rupees, tuition fee for him was just 5000 rupees. Other friend of mine got seatby comed k for 250000 , tuition fees for him was 5000r Rupees. For sc st quota students they get scholarship of 45000 from scholarship of state government[ irrespective of merit].

My overall experience in campus life is focusing on social aspects club involvement and infrastructure provided fest are organised by students by their respective core branches with their respective name like a yantrika for mechanical engineering and etc many hack accounts racing courses and other competitions are organised by the students on which lecturers are to supportive. The range and accessibility of books and journals in the library is good the the facilities and Technology provisions within within the classrooms are not too good . I personally wanted to pursue mechanical engineering as I thought IT industry was dropping below at present in Mysore for mechanical engineering stream NIE Mysore and JC mysuru was best out of which JC Mysore was good for IT related branches and for mechanical engineering , , by the seniors recommendation was NIE was best for mechanical engineering students placements I personally till now didn't have felt guilty for choosing this field . admission process can be done both by management and by government counselling process exam out of which around rank between 30000 to 50000 is good for this college for mechanical engineering stream Many students get this college seat under comedk exams too. But most preferred exam is kcet exam

Faculty to student ratio is 1:20 . Faculty to student relationship is not good but faculties are approacheble . I like maths faculty, roopa mam, the way she teaches is good . Chemistry and python faculties too are good . I didn't like Caed faculty. Because inspite of feedback there speed is high and o e subject is handled by 3 professors. There are 2 tests prior to semester end exam and lab exam. Course curriculum is relevant and gets updated every year.

Colleges situated in the centre of the city Mysore hangoutsports late night activities are good there are many gyms cafeteria's and around college campus timings is from 8 to 6 hostel timings is from 7 to 10 night famous hangout places inside the colleges cafeteria and gym and auditorium sports ground in error outside the college is Park gym and city areas nothing to worry about locality it is completely safe to Rome around at night
