Remarks
My college overall is very good and recommended for anyone who wishes to take a mid tier IIT. It is growing a lot in the field of research leaving behind top institutes of the country. The atmosphere is very good and we get to make good relations.
Course Curriculum Overview
My curriculum is good and apt as per the branch. The professors are very good and know the subject very well. Curriculum is full of research studies Exam structure is semester based.mid Sem and end sem exams are there.
Placement Experience
The placements are above average of the colleges. The placement is very good for the computer science branch and the electrical branch. The rest branches also have average placements. Two new branches have not yet had a placement season.
College Events
All the regional and cultural festivals are celebrated with very much effort. We have a cultural committee which is responsible for organising all the cultural events. Many other events like technical are also done there.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is feasible. The fee is less for the backward or reserved classes like SC, St and OBC. Due to reservation the fee for them is very less as compared to general category. But it is affordable compared to many other colleges.
Fees and Financial Aid
I don't know about any such scholarship. But some of my friends got some scholarship from the Madhya Pradesh government but I don't think that was through the college. Scholarships are offered I think hut at PhD level.
Campus Life
There are many extra-curricular activities. I myself am a part of many. There are many cultural and technical clubs. There are general, sports, cultural, technical secretaries which look over the functioning of them. Sports is very active. Technical is very active as well.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel infrastructure is one of the best in India and I am very satisfies with the hostels. All the facilities are top class and we can not get any better facilities. We are very lucky to get these facilities.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network is strong but not many have passed so it is still to grow. Many of our alumni are in big industries making big name and are getting good salaries. We have an alumni cell through which we connect with them. They come to college time to time and help a lot.
Admission
We have to clear JEE under the rank of 10000.I got a rank of 8000.It is one of the most prestigious college of India and is respected very much. It is the toughest entrance exam of India and lacs of people give it every year.
Faculty
Faculties are good and have many years of experience. The professors have graduated themselves from very prestigious colleges. They are highly respected in the industry and have many contacts. They have a lot of knowledge and teach well.
