Course Curriculum Overview
The internal exams happens every month. Best of three internals are considered. The attendance criteria is 85%. The teaching methods are pretty decent in this college. Also we have 3 labs per week so we also get to know the practical aspect of the subjects.
Fees and Financial Aid
My yearly tution fees is 2 lakhs 50 thousand. My admission fees was around 20 thousand and my lab fees was around 14 thousand. There is no concessions for ST SC categories. But some kind of scholarships are there in my clg.
Campus Life
The college life is not a bit boring. Everday something is happening inside the college. We have two hostel fests- Rafaga and Farusch. We have two college fests as well which are Phaseshift anf Utsav.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is very poor particularly in my hostel. They have provided the wifi facility 2 months late after my admission in the hostel.There are no curtains in the room.The one good thing in the hostel is that we get separate bathrooms for each room
Admission
I applied for many other colleges like BITS Pilani, Some two tier NIT's and IIIT's. I got rejections from most of these colleges. I chose BMS over certain good colleges because i knew it is among the top 3 colleges in Bangalore
Faculty
All the faculties in my college are very friendly. I like my physics teacher,Dr Ganesh sir, the most. One semester consists of 4 examinations. 3 internal exams and one semester end exams. The difficulty of exams is moderate to difficult in my opinion
Night Life
Night life is almost dead in our college. There are no jamming or such activities in the night time. My hostel curfew time is around 9:30 pm. You can visit gandhi bazaar for some hangout time which is around 1 km from the college.
