Overall the college is average in all regards. Better than many private engineering colleges but also lacks in various aspects from the better colleges. Life can become monotonous sometimes and the environment is very pressuring. In the end, it's an engineering college so it's bound to be like a generic engineering college.

The curriculum is that of continuous evaluation. There are two sessional exams and an end-term exam. The sessionals carry equal weightage while the end terms carry more weightage. Apart from that, there are internal quizzes and class tests for evaluation.

Placements are somewhat average. The highest package falls somewhere between 20-30 LPA but most of the students bag service-based companies with a package of 3.5 LPA. The average package is almost 6 LPA.

There are many events that happen throughout the year. The annual college fest Impressions is one of the main events. The tech fest i.e. is Cyber Srishti is the main tech fest of our college. There are about 20 hubs in college that organize their individual events from robotics to literary events.

The fee structure is a little expensive. It is above 3 lakhs per year. For a student from a lower-middle-class background, the fee is quite high. But keeping in mind the rest of engineering college it is almost similar to many other colleges.

There is a Merriam webster scholarship programme that requires a student to have atleast 80% marks in college to be considered. Although scoring 80% marks in our college is very difficult and I know of no-one who has availed this scholarship.

The labs have a very good infrastructure. There are about 10 computer labs, 2 labs for the biotech dept and 2 labs for the ECE dept. The sports facilities are good too. There are badminton courts, football ground, basketball court, volleyball court and a squash court.

The hostel has all amenities including air conditioning and cleaning. The mess food is average. There are a gym and a swimming pool. There are badminton courts, football ground and basketball ground. There is also a squash court and pool table.

The alumni network is quite helpful. There are sessions organized by our college hubs that bring placed alumni for an interactive session. Also, the college groups on social media have posts from alumni about placement and internship opportunities.

I was admitted into my college via my JEE- MAINS rank. Course and branches are alloted based on your performance in the JEE-MAINS exam. The students are required to register for counselling and then they are invited for a counselling session. Their seats are alloted based on the rank on a first come first serve basis.
