Course Curriculum Overview
The course Biomedical engineering is a combination of both biology and engineering. As a Biomedical engineer we'll be solving many problems in the equipments everyday which will make the worklife more stronger.
Internships Opportunities
College will help the students to go more internships. Every semester there is internships which will be arranged by the college. The internships companies will be the companies if the respective core companies of each department
Placement Experience
Many top companies and startup companies have came for our placements recruitment. The college has placement cell which is active, they provide special training sessions for getting placed and for having a successful worklife.
Fees and Financial Aid
I'm paying 60000 per year for the BE Biomedical engineering department. In our college they also have the 7.5 category which is very helpfull for many students. There are many scholarships available for the students.
Campus Life
In nowadays college is doing more cultural activities for the students. Has farewell functions for each batch. College has a good library which has all the books needed for all department students. The college has sports clubs which gives training and help us to participate in many competitions.
Admission
The Biomedical engineering department is not available in many colleges only some engineering colleges are providing this course. In those colleges Sri Muthukumaran institute of technology is one the best in range of their infrastructure, quality of education and affordability.
Faculty
There is adequate number of staffs for each department. They all have great knowledge on their respective courses. They conduct monthly assessments which is very helpfull during the semester exams. The biomedical department faculties are very professional and friendly at the same time
Interview Experience
There is no group discussion or interviews for the admission process. The admission process is ver simple and easy. There is no need for any preparations. Just know about the department you will be selecting.
Night Life
The hostel has safe and has a good infrastructure. The library will be open 9am to 6am. The cafeteria will be open 8am to 6 am The mess food has only limited options. There are security guards all round inside the campus.
