The Almighty College Life

My curriculum had various subjects. There were few subjects that used to get changed every semester. Further as I had selected Computer Applications as my optional subject, so I had to visit the computer lab every day and work on various softwares and fields. The study in every subject of the curriculum was accurately in-depth that helped us to broaden our minds and helped us in taking the challenges ahead.

The annual fee of my college was around 8000 INR that included the exam fee as well. So overall for the entire course, I had paid 24000 INR. Fees varied for other batchmates as some of them were from other categories and also some of the mates were physically disabled so they had some other criteria of fees.

I had a great life at my college and made great friends. As I mentioned previously as well, the library was my favourite place as it had a great space to sit and study in silence, plus there were a lot of books available related to different fields that helped me gain knowledge. Talking about sports, I was in the cricket team for all the 3 years and had captained my team in the final year where we lost the final match. This cricket tournament used to be on a university level so that was a great achievement for me to represent my college.

Reviews with regard to the the education standard and quality were pretty great so that was the main reason to join the college. Other reason to was that I had already started working part-time with a company during that period right from the 1st year of my education, so my college was lenient with the attendance part. Also the college was close to my place so I had this college as the best option. Further, I had only applied to one other college in my city, but did not choose that as the reviews were not so great and I wanted to gain good knowledge that's why I chose Saifia College of Arts and Commerce.

Faculties at my college were greatly knowledgeable and they had pretty accurate idea of the subject they taught. Also there were a lot of activities that helped students learn much easily. All the faculties used to give proper attention to every student, and used to listen patiently to each student's issue. Though all the faculties were great, but 2 of my favourite faculties were Mr. Chanchal Buttan who used to teach us Accounts and Economics, and other was Mr. Gaurav Atri who taught us Entrepreneurship. Exams were moderately tough, but the faculties taught us well and also we used to have regular class tests, so it wasn't so difficult to crack the exams.

The nightlife was great as there were some activities that we used to do during the evening and night time. There was a cafeteria and an indoor play area where we used to play badminton, table tennis, carrom and chess and this area was open to just the college students.
