Vignan's - The school

The quality of curriculum of above average. I felt that they are following Traditional curriculum. But if we want to learn some other stuff we will have a lot of time to learn and the thing is we should not waste time. Difficulty level of exams in medium and it is comletely revalent to course.

As we are in Recession phase placements were not that good but still our previovs batches placement status in Satisifactory. For for batch till not some 10 to 15 companies (IT companies) come to uor college. But what I feel is more number of students will be placed every year but not all of them will satisfy.

Fee for A - Category student per year is 52,000 and fee for B - Category student is 3 times amount of an A - Category student i.e,156000. Other than that fee for NRI - Category student will be nearly 2,00,000. Coming to other fee exam fee is 1,500 pre semister and building fee which includes lab fee, library fee etc. is more than 6000 per year. CRT fee(Placement training fee) is 16,000 to 22,000. Coming to scholarships the students those who have white ration cards will receive scholarship. Scholarship depents on Government. For my batch government had given full fee amount for the students those who are from A- Category (Students who joined through EAPCET).

There will be many events done in our college like essay writing, Debet, Singing competation etc. Every year Yuvatarang a big event will be done in our college where every student will enjoy and technical fest will also be done.

As a hostler a simple word defines my Hostel i.e, worse. Food is not good all times. Hygeine conditions are upto Avarage. Fee is 90000. I feel it is not worth it. Many of my friends live in PG near by.

I aimed to join colleges at our area i.e, Visakhapatnam. I thought of joining Gayatri Vidya Parishad but I could'nt. And then I felt of joing ANITS or Vignan Institue of Information Technology. Anyway i could'nt get into CSE but I finally came into IT field. And I did'nt regret joining Vignan. Admission process is we need to score a good rank in EAPCET examination which will be held yearly once. Cut-off will be based on your department.

In my first year and second year lecturers used to come daily and teach classes. And its quite common that in our 3rd and 4th year we need to do self-study. And faculty will be very friendly with students. Coming to exams in a semister there will be two mid examinations and one final examinations and lab examinations. For us exams were held in our college itself and inviligation will be strict That if any student found copying will be punished severely. Exams are not that difficult and not even easy. Exams are relevalent to course cirriculum. Almost 65 to 75 percent students pass the examinations every semister.

Don't expect night life. Till not i did'nt even see a light in our campus at night time. Library will be open until 6:30 PM. But security is good need not to worry about that. Hostlers need to be in hostel by 7:00 PM atleast. If they wants to stay extra time they are free to take permission.
