Course Curriculum Overview

3

Curriculum of my subject is good and commendable. Teachers always gave something extra from their side for eager students. They always give motivation like 'our competition is studying somewhere else better than us' so, they always gave us extra than sufficient. Some students lack to cope up with everyone but teachers always extend their support to them. Exam and semester timings are worst in my sessions. In 2nd year of my studies I got exams for 2 month period(approx) and semester only of about 2.5-3 months. Because of this behaviour of university, protest and disputes also arose among students.

Internships Opportunities

2

I have not applied to any internships, some students of my course have tried to get internship but due to inregularity in course timing. Students have not applied for internships. Some students of other Faculties got their intership with govt.

Fees and Financial Aid

My course fee is semester wise categorised. On the time of admission and afterwards examination fees and semester wise. Scholarships are given to meritorious students and students with very weak financial conditions. Government schemes of any scholarship or any other facility is also entertained. Category wise fee also differ, not very much but it's a relief.

Campus Life

4

The environment of my college was good, campus is very big and engaging. On the time of admission club activities are not very good. Within my session new clubs for drama, literature , debate, civil services prepration, dance, music were created. Infrastructure was intermediate, no modern structure are in the faculty. Desk and all are good. There is A need of smart classes as students are getting more wired online.

Admission

For my admission, I only have applied for this university. I appeared for BHU-UET(2021) and cleared my written exams. I got qualified and got listed in merit-list. Admission process was lengthy because I have to chose in more than 150 preferences after that a lot of documents are required which will be listed on your admission letter.

Faculty

4

My course system was different and not based on NEP. My course structure were 3 subjects I have to opt in the starting of the course, then one subject as compulsory language. After 2 years, 3rd year will be with your Hons. Subject and compulsory language. Faculty members are very good, some teacher gave a very disappointing moment of our semester. But 60-70% are good. I was in Japanese language faculty and have studied under 3 professors, everyone was very much supportive.

Night Life

4

Safe, a few incidents happened in 3 years which ask questions on safety. Cafeteria are good, but not very likeable. They are not offering much option in snacks and not anything in meal. Gym is available, but only one. One will need to manage a lot if he is going to do gym. VT temple campus is one of the famous hangouts in campus. Other than that madhuban and other faculty lawn are good for hangouts. Security is very uptight in the campus.

Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith - [MGKVP], Bachelor of Arts [BA] (Education)
Reviewed on Feb 17, 2026(Enrolled 2023)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The BA curriculum in my college at Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith (MGKVP) for the 2025–2026 academic year is structured under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, making it academically comprehensive but traditionally theoretical. It follows a six-semester system that offers a wide range of subjects, from core Humanities (History, Political Science, Hindi) to modern electives and Vocational courses (e.g., Nutrition, Yoga, or Digital Literacy), providing students with a multidisciplinary framework. In terms of relevance, the syllabus is exceptionally well-suited for students aiming for government services and competitive exams (UPSC/UPPSC), as the depth of social science subjects mirrors the state and national civil service patterns. However, its professional comprehensiveness is lower; while the curriculum includes internal assessments, presentations, and project work to build soft skills, the actual delivery remains focused on rote learning and theory rather than industry-ready practical training. Consequently, the course is highly relevant for an academic or administrative career path but requires significant self-supplementation (internships or external skill-building) for those seeking immediate roles in the private sector.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) is well structured, relevant, and comprehensive. One of the main reasons I chose this course was its balanced syllabus, which includes both theoretical concepts and practical applications. The curriculum is designed in a way that builds a strong foundation in core subjects while also introducing advanced topics gradually. This helps students understand subjects deeply rather than just studying for exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My Biggest reason to choose this subject to I like art related work,so I choose this subject. One advantage of doing this subject is that along with art,you can learn a lot from other social and cultural aspect as well. There is a need to make some improvements in this subject such a a course should be of shorter duration and the syllabus should be made a little shorter. Whatever the exam, the subject should be made a short subject with less duration and should not be of long duration.
