Likes
- Faculty is quite knowledgeable. Almost all of them are phd holders. Some have quite impressive qualifications like one is mba cfa with phd which helps me a lot. Almost all of them are interested in teaching, they just don't come and read the slide.
- Classrooms are quite spacious, doesn't feel any congested.
- Campus Life is really good and chill. We have ground near to play sports. I think gender ratio is good.
Dislikes
- From many weeks lift is not working. Have to take steps to reach classroom. Classroom is on 5th floor
- ACs sometimes don't work. Didn't caused much problem but I expect them to be fully functional.
- They don't give prior information about exam date early
Course Curriculum Overview
Interaction with patients made me take this course. I want to heal and help people. The curriculum is relevant to real world applications. I think subjects like sociology isn't needed much in this course, it just takes a bit our time which we could have invested in other subjects. Exams are quite frequent. Like 4 sessionals and 2 semester every year. Exams are a bit difficult I would say. Rigorous exams checking are done.
Internships Opportunities
In bpt we go to government hospitals like rml safdarjung and all. We don't get any stipend sadly. We have opd in college where we get few patients to treat. I don't have much idea as I am in first year.
Fees and Financial Aid
It's a state government college (comes under delhi government) fees is 90000 per year for general category student which is quite high as per government college. I don't have idea about other categories. There is no scholarship for general category students. St sc and obc students do get scholarships. Hostel fees is affordable as everything( accomodation, mess, electricity,etc) is under 40000 per year. 15 k for 6 months is mess charge and 10 k accomodation charge per year. There is no any other charges other than the ones I mentioned above I guess.
Campus Life
Campus Life is good and chill. As I am quite introvert so I don't get much involved in such activities but I believe college doesn't conduct freshers and fests. But we do see lot of seminars and industry expert talks of other field in the college. There are clubs for dance singing drama photography and all. Facilities provided are good if we take it as government college. I have never faced any shortage of books in the library. We physios celebrate sports a lot like there is physio premier league for cricket. There are ngos clubs like umeed Rotaract to book extra curricular activities.
Hostel Facilities
We get table chair. unlimited internet and electricity. We have old hostel and new hostel. New hostel rooms are quite spacious. Old hostel rooms are smaller than new one, but balcony is provided. Meal is average, regarding.insects in food has happened. But from 3-4 months I think sanitation is taken seriously and I found no insects from few months.
Admission
I choose this college cause I didn't had filled the form of cuet and I got good percentage in 12th and as this college considers 12th percentage so I took admission in this college. I just applied for this college and got admission in it. I knew I will get selected as I talked to seniors of this college regarding is my percentage enough to get in the college. I believe for general category students above 85 percent is safe score for admission in bpt
Faculty
Faculty to students ratio is good, except anatomy classes, all classes are held properly. We have guest faculty for few anatomy classes. Faculty is supportive. Richa ma'am is quite helpful regarding students problem be it academic non academic. There are 4 sessionals and 2 semester every year. In sessionals best 2 are considered. Exams are difficult according to me. Many students fail in anatomy exams. Course curriculum is relevant I believe cause bpt is big degree, it requires lots of hardships.
Night Life
Gym is there, some of the equipments are working some are not. Library is shut from months. There are talks that library will be opened soon. Morning time I don't know it might be 5-6 am. we have to reach hostel before 10 pm. Locality is safe. Pvr cinema is near.
