Great Learning Environment with Driven Peers

The college opens up several opportunities with a good peer and alumni network. It has good industry connections and good reputation among foreign universities. The research activities can improve further.

The course curriculum is good. There is emphasis on keeping the structure modern. But it is not so heavy to overburden the students. The grading is based on relative grading. The components include mid semester tests, end semester comprehensive tests, assignments and quizzes.

The college has great placements. In the NIRF 2019 rankings it had among the best scores in placements. A diverse group of companies including MNCs and startups visit the campus. Some of the biggest recruiters are Flipkart, Amazon, Microsoft, Qualcomm, Cisco, Oracle, Nutanix, Oyo, Paypal etc. The college has two compulsory internships. One is during second year summer vacations and the other is for a semester in final year. The institute has tie ups with over 200 organizations. The students fill their choice and are directly selected for internships. Companies include Apple, Texas Instruments, JPMC, Google, NVIDIA, Walmart plus all the above. Also, companies come to hire interns for third year summer internships. The final year internship provides a high chance of converting into full time position. Stipends vary depending on stream and company. It is anytime between 15000 pm to 90000 pm. The internships provide good exposure to industry

The fee structure is similar to other private technical institutes. There are scholarships based on merit and income available. If you satisfy the income criteria, it is not difficult to get scholarship. Besides, there is a student aid fund for needy students. Studenta are also eligible for several government scholarships. They can also avail education loans under attractive rates through SBI.

The institute offers Merit and Merit cum need scholarship. I personally availed Merit cum Need scholarship to the tunnel of 80% of my tuition fees. Students are also eligible for SBI scholar loan which is at a lower rate.

The college has good infrastructure for labs and sports. The labs are state of the art. There are sports facilities for all common sporta like badminton, tennis, squash, cricket, table tennis, hockey, kabaddi. There is a gym for fitness enthusiasts and the campus has good tracks for the runners. There are interest clubs for all activities like literature, dance, spiritual etc.

All the students stay in campus hostels. The hostels are good, with each room having a ethernet connection for internet. The connection speed is good most of the times. There is a common room for carrom and table tennis in each hostel. There are shared showers and washroom facilities. The rooms are both single and double occupancy.

The alumni network is helpful and well spread across the globe. They are present in some of the best universities and organizations, in diverse fields beyond engineering. The alumni include former chief minister, CEO of MNCs, founder of of unicorn startup, IPS officer. The seniors are helpful and have a good rapport.

Admission is based through BITSAT exam conducted by the institute. It is an online, computer based MCQ test on Physics, Chemistry, Maths, English and Aptitude. Board toppers are provided direct admission. International students can qualify through SATs. There is no reservation.

The faculty is a mix of new and experienced professors. Many of the faculty are very enthusiastic about there subject. Some faculty have good projects going on. Nevertheless, you have to choose your faculty wisely to meet your aspirations and for guidance.
