- They will be providing free food for everyone in the mess for lunch.
- The faculty are friendly and very helpful.
- The transportation is free as there are 150 plus busses
Dislikes
- The busses will be crowded some times, so it is some discomfort.
- Sometimes there will be lots of rush in the canteen.
- There will be faculties standing near the canteen and they will be scolding.
Course Curriculum Overview
In my course the curriculum is good and I have data science too in my course so they will be teaching programming languages like c,c++,python ,perl and apart from this they will be teaching DBMS, and statistics for data science. Related to Bioinformatics they will be teaching proteomics, sequence analysis, genomics, bioinformatics tools,cell biology , molecular biology,,drug design and development,cheminformatics etc
Placement Experience
The placement will be happening for the 3rd year students who have registered already by paying 6000 rs. The topics companies like Accenture, TCS, wipro,etc come for placements. The highest package is around 3.5 lakhs per annum . I am opting for higher studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
During the first year the total fees was 71000 ,in this 71000 they will be holding 5000 for emergency purposes. In second year the fees was 66000. In third year the fees was 61000 ,but it's actually 66000 as the were holding 5000 as emergency fees they will be reducing that amount . You should pay 500 for id card and 6000 for placements. For all of my batchmates the fees is same as my fees. There is no fee deduction for merit cum students as the college is deemed .
Campus Life
The overall experience was very good and and we enjoyed a lot as there will be lots of events happening. There will cultural fest yearly once and there will be pongal event happening in January. There are many clubs related to sports and studies, students can enroll in clubs and be a part of club.
Admission
The registration form is 500 rs and you can apply through online or directly at the admin office. Compared to other colleges the fees is less and we get free food and the transportation. The course syllabus is also upgraded and it is good for the new batches.
Faculty
The faculties are very friendly and very helpful. The marking scheme is also good as mostly all of them will be getting pass marks except one or two. There will be two internals and an end semester exam and both the marks will be converted for 50 and it will be given for 100 marks . Internal - 50 External-50 The assignments , quiz and attendance marks will be calculated in the internal marks.
Night Life
We have canteen , library, gym ,and research parks in our college . The clg timing is from morning 9 am to 3.15 pm. The locality is safe to roam at night and there are many places to hangout near the college.
