Worthy

The college is worthy. And offers various opportunities to its students. I am glad that I am a part of this college. It’s one of the reputed college of Mumbai. One of the things that I don’t like about my college is the annual fest as it is very low class no big celebrities are invited unlike other colleges.

I am doing Bachelor in management studies. I really liked the course curriculum of my first year as it helped me to know bits of human skills, business and industrial law as well as political aspects of the country. The curriculum was not only related to management but covered many aspects as mentioned above. I had 1 exam each after completion of a semester that means 2 exams a year.

As I was a first year student so I wasn’t being compelled to do a internship and also the college didn’t provide much of the internship options as well. I only remember of a internship by HDFC bank that’s all. As of my knowledge they will be giving worthy internship opportunities from the second year and the placements of the third year students were good.

There are various events being carried out in my college simultaneously as it offers various courses so each course has their different set of events. There are many workshops and sessions being organised from nutrition to cyber hacking. There is a annual fest covering various programs like fashion show, open mic, etc. There is ample space to conduct various activities.

It is feasible and not at all expensive. Various scholarships are also offered for the students who belong to the backward classes. Even if the scholarships are not awarded the fee is nominal. And also the fee structure for reserved classes is different as of my knowledge.

I haven’t availed any scholarship because I belong to general category. And the fees was nominal enough that you need no loan. But my college do offer scholarships to the students of reserved category.

There are various labs in my college and various sports activities are also conducted. Also there is a rest room separate for boys and girls and also room for indoor games. The campus is so huge that it has various grounds and also a running track.

Yes, I have opted for hostel. On the scale of 10 I’d rate it 9. It offers various facilities like laundry, gym, mess, etc. and the infrastructure is sophisticated and developed. The only problem is that it doesn’t have AC rooms.

Being a first year student I don’t know about the alumni of the college but they are invited in the annual fest of the college. Talking about senior students they are helpful. There is no ragging in my college and the seniors act more as siblings and friends rather than being rude.

There are merit lists displayed in the college based on your 12th percentage. If you clear the cutoff set by them your name will be included in the merit list and then you can apply for your admission. There are atleast 4-5 merit lists that are being put up and can be increased according to the admissions and the seats.

They are very supportive and try to solve the problems as an when asked. As I am an outstation student so they were very supportive and took care of things very promisingly. They are well aware of the subjects they teach and also conduct various interactive activities in the class.
