Remarks
The crowd is good but or depends on you. I was, in a nutshell, waiting to crack and I made the best of friends. There are a lot of people you know who you aren't supposed to be with if you have instincts you won't get influenced but if not just stay away from such people. This place is really good for studying and developing your personality is your focus on growth join cms.
Course Curriculum Overview
It's pretty good. The curriculum and the kind of subjects they give us or teach is good. This college is mostly about co-curricular stuff like toastmasters, forums etc. The exam structure revolves around the sgpa system. 4 internals, internship or co-curricular and 1 final paper (30+70).
Placement Experience
They do provide internships but not everyone is accommodated in that as out of around 3000 people they cater to around 300-500 and the rest have to get the internship by themselves. Speaking about the placement team I'm not much aware of it.
College Events
We have many events. 1) Lasya- biggest cms fest it revolves around a theme which is changed every year. This includes dressing up differently in that month it includes ethnic day. 2) Emparch- by toastmasters where there are different kinds of speeches which you can deliver. 3) Hindi Diwas- talks much about the essence of Hindi. 4) Various other fests do occur.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is expensive, First-year-182500+10000. Second year-182500, Third year- 182500. But trust me it's completely worth it. For the kind of crowd u meet. There no shitty crowd. Cause not everyone can afford 2l a year.
Fees and Financial Aid
There's a scholarship for the first years which tells that u should get above 85% in 10th and 12th-grade exams and then only you are eligible for it. After that, you have to write a scholarship test and if you get a good score you get a scholarship of about 10000-20000. Depending on your score.
Campus Life
There a lot of co-curricular activities going all around the year from sports to talent to dance etc is you're good at something you can showcase it anywhere at CMS. There's no playground for sports. There's a library.
Hostel Facilities
I haven't opted but most of my friends living in the hostel tell that it is pretty decent. Facilities and infrastructure are just on point and they have a fun time living there. Food is average. Everything else is good.
Alumni/Alumna
Pretty unsure about the alumni network as according to the college they say that they have a strong alumni association but I haven't seen anything as such. It though has met and greets offered often to the alumni who bring in something for the college.
Admission
First, there is a process in which they filter out people. 1) written test 2) group discussion 3) personal interview If you clear these rounds and get above 70% in your boards only then you will get a seat else they won't entertain you no matter what.
Faculty
The faculty is exceptionally good and must of them guide you to the right path. All the subject teachers are too good. You have this course called mmt in which the teachers are just too good. I like the way they teach.
