Everything is good but the hostel food, i tried 3 to 4 times is really a mess. every vegetable has the similar taste. if one can ignore the food problem, then CGC is best for a student who is willing to put hardwork.

The course curriculum is quite old. there is no knowledge of latest and ongoing technologies in the market. The curriculum mostly emphasis on getting marks in examinations, but students can work on any innovation with the help of teachers.

the placements of CGC Landran are really the best in whole North India. Over 350 companies visit here every year with sound packages. Maximum package till date is 30 lac per annum and average package is 3 lac per annum.

Many events take place on CGC Campus. rather there are more number of events than number of classes here. In a single month, 2 to 3 celebrities do visit here for their promotional purposes. Moreover, every festival is celebrated here, specially Baisakhi.

The fee is 45K per semester which is a nominal fee according to the facilities. The fee is half as compare to the another campus of CGC that Chandigarh university, where the fee is 90K per semester. One has to pay the fees of next semester before the examination of previous semester.

There is loan facilty for education, in fact i am studying on an educational loan. The college has tie ups with 2 to 3 banks, but we can take loan from any bank. and yes, there are all scholerships, that are by the Indian Government like for SC,OBC, ST etc. and also for Minorities.

There are many extracurricular activities in every field, whether one has talent of singing, dancing or any sport, everyone gets equal opportunity in their field. in fact, i am also a well known singer in CGC. there is a sports meet every year.

There is a separte website that the CGC has made specially for alumni, on which any alumni can give their comments or feedback on CGC any time. But there must be an interaction of students who got placed in good companies with juniors.

I went to the college with parents. They asked my 10th and 12th marks, as i secured above 75% in that so, i was eligible for admission and luckily seats were also there, so i got the admission in Electronics and Communication Engineering.

The faculty of the college is really hardworking and most of them has practical knowledge of the subject which they are teaching. Some faculties often give importance in filing patents so that the students can open up their minds and can think out of box.
