Lucky to be a wadian

I am very much thankful to my parents that they let me change my college and admitted me in wadia college. I couldnt have a better college life than this at any other college. The teachers have helped and guided us so well. The knowledge and memories here are unforgetable.

There are multiple courses available in my college. Bcom being one of them. The exam pattern is annual pattern. Semester exams are conducted but they are only for the purpose of internal marks to students.

The small as well the big companies come with placement opportunity for students. Around 80% students are placed every year through college campus drives. They offer us with jobs as well as internship. The minimum stipend offered is rs.10000

The college has activities and events throughout the year for students. The biggest event celebrated every year with full enthusiasm is Infinity where students from different colleges are also invited to participate. There is also a event "kalarang" to encourage talents of students.

The fee structure is quite feasible. But then again it differs from caste to caste and religion to religion. The minor caste is charged lesser fees than the open caste students. Additional concessions are offered to them.

There are scholarships offered for minor category caste students. There is also merit based scholarships for students with higher marks in past examinations. I had availed the merit based scholarship during my 11 th standard.

There are sports like hockey , football , cricket , basketball etc. for students. There are also labs for IT in the college. Then again there are 2 libraries in the college. All of these are good enough and very helpful

We have heard about alumni but never got a chance to attend such programs. Its the best part for the past students to come together and meet after long years. They share their experiences about their college life and also guide the present students about their careers

I had filled the merit form and got MMCC but then as it was too far , I decided to switch my college. In the changing college round held for girl students organised by the education council , I got a opportunity to change my college and then I choose Wadia college for my further education.

A very well qualified faculty is there at Wadia college. All the teaching and non teavhing staff as well have good education. Almost all the teachers here hold PHD in their respective special subjects of teaching and theie knowledge is very helpful dor students.
