Reason to select or reject Rayat and Bahra

As we know everything has positive and negative. If I'll talk about this university I'll say if you want to do something big and have an attitude of exploring new things, meeting great people, always try to do big and like challenges so this is not the right place for you as it lacks in these aspects this college is limited. It is good for those students who are limited and are looking for just a degree and a job you should come here and complete your education.

The course curriculum at my university is not too hard. It's very good for average students. The course is designed perfectly for education. The examination structure is also quite simple there are two midterm exams of each 30 marks and an average of them is calculated in the final mark sheet. The end semester exam is of 50 marks consisting of 10 objective types questions of 1 mark each. 5 questions of 5 marks in which you have to attempt 3 and 3 questions of 10 marks in which you have to attempt 2 questions. You have to submit 3 assignment in each subject and have to give a viva and quiz for each subject in a semester. The assignment consists of 10 marks and quiz and viva 5 marks each. Total = 30+50+10+5+5= 100. You need to score atleast 40 to get a pass or you'll have a backlog.

The overall placement in college is very good with big companies taking part in the placement drive. There is a 100% placement rate in hotel management. The management department is also very good at placement with placing students in big companies. The engineering department has tied up with Google Symons and other big tech firms for placement. Byjus, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Oppo, Tech Mahindra, ICICI Bank, Flipkart are some of the companies which took part in placement drive in the past.

They are a few events that the college celebrate. Each and every department in the college has its own fresher party and farewell party every year. One annual function is organised every year which is branded as techno virsa. In this celebrities are invited to perform recently Lakhvir Singh, Gurunam Bhullar and Sunanda Sharma have performed.

The fee structure is quite okay as per the current situation prevailing in the field of education. The free structure is suitable for students belonging to a middle-class family and upper-class family. It's also suitable for students of Punjab having a backward cast as they get huge concession on their fee. Overall the fee structure of this university is average as compared to other universities in India. It is mostly suitable for students belonging to middle class and upper-class families.

The university offers various types of scholarship programs. Students can get fee concession in the fee of the first semester if they are having a 60+ percentage in the 12 mark sheet. There are also benefits for the single girl child, students with no mother or father or both of the parents. There are also benefits for local students belonging to sc St and Obc group.

The extracurricular activities at the university are quite good. There are various activities organised on the campus. There are various activities like debate, handwriting Rangoli, art and various other activities organised every year.

The senior students are not quite good. I don't think there is a lot of interaction between senior and junior students. Mostly students are limited to their batch mates only. There are though few senior who interact with junior mostly in events.

After completing my 12th standard I directly call them on their number for information related to admission. After having information about the course they asked for my percentage in 12th standard and I was selected directly. If you got above 55% in 12th standard you are selected directly in college.
