Class Size: 34Course Fees: INR 12000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution for first semester costs around Rs. 12000 and thereafter each semester costs Rs. 6000. There are many Scholarships provided by Central Government, State Government and Private Institutions like Reliance Foundation. E-grants are also provided for students

Campus Life

There are various college fests and events conducted by college union, department associations. The college also have numerous clubs for students. The college has good records in terms of sports especially Football in regional and national level

Admission

This college is one of the top colleges in Kerala and with significant influence of college union, students gets a chance to enjoy various college events and fests. The admission process is simple and there are students representatives to assist freshers grievance

Faculty

The faculty members are highly qualified and friendly towards students. Their teaching pattern is mainly focused on adapting practical knowledge instead of theoretical knowledge. The exam question papers difficulty are neutral.

There are many hangout spots within and outside the campus like Botanical Garden, Cafeteria and the main town is just few distance away from the college. It is safe to roam around the campus at nightime.

A College that builds knowledge,confidence and memories

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and relevant to current academic and real world needs,it hepls built astrong foundation knowledge especially in my field geography,the syllabus also supports preparation for competitive exams and higher education. Exams are conducted regularly and difficulties level is moderate,which helps in consistent preparation,however adding more practical assessments instead of only theoretical exams would be beneficial Overall the curriculum is good but it can be improved by including updated topics more hands on learning,and modern teaching methods

Course Curriculum Overview:

The courses are well structured and interesting espcially the social psychology and basic psychology papers. in a semester there are 2 internal exams and they will be at least a month apart from each other. as long as you study your course materials, the exams are pretty easy however otherwise it might be a tough one. the courses are well structured espcially the social and basic psychology. and in some semesters, there will be a reading period where students are encourged to go and read in the Library.. The Curriculum served as a base for Internships and basic understanding but it is required to do masters to get a job in psychology filed

My experience at Women's Christian College

Placement Experience:

The placements at college were good. Students become eligible for placement from the 5th semester. Some of the companies to my knowledge were Deloitte, Cognizant, Hexaware and the average package was between 3lpa to 5lpa. In my class, ther percentage pf students placed was more than 75%. My plan after my Bachelors was to immediately pursue Masters degree.
