- I found found professors of my college are very helpful to me.
- Specially our seniors are very helpful to us and there is almost zero percentage of ragging even our senior help us by creating groups and through call also.
- Our college infrastructure is good. In my 1st semester I realised that it is not as that easy as we thought because the things becomes complexity day by day.
Dislikes
- I found my college has to take focus on cleaniness of campus
- I think less no. of girls opt engeneering because of why my college girls boys ratio is 7:3
Course Curriculum Overview
I have choosen mechanical engineering because I am interested in it since my preparation, I found it is very relevance to me. Exam pattern is too easy to understand classe test I> mid sem> class test II> end sem, but it not easy as we think because of it's difficulty.
Internships Opportunities
I have less idea about it because I am just entering in 2nd sem Svnit Surat offers summer internship program for students of 5th sem and onwards Some of the students got the opportunity of getting selected in abroad internship in 2023 15 student selected to go Germany and intern there
Placement Experience
As per my knowledge at the beginning of 6th sem students are getting placed at the known companies. Adobe, amazon and the other well known companies has offered last year. Highest package is 52 lpa Average package is 11 lpa Median package is 9 lpa 80-90% students getting placed
Fees and Financial Aid
Total fees per year(including hostel, mess registration, development fees etc) is approx 200000 Total tution fees per semester is 62500 Total mess fees per semester is 19500 Even I am receiving 100% tution fee remission because my family income is less than 1 lakh. All type of government scholarship is available in the institute but you can avail only one.
Campus Life
Almost every festivals is celebrated by us which creates lots of memories in our life, Starting with makar sankranti we celebrate Holi, Diwali, ganesh puja, Navaratri, and all the jayanti etc There is club named phynics celebrats techincal fest every year and the other clubs are akriti, dristi, chrd, mindbend etc Here is a decent facility of almost every sports plays in India.
Hostel Facilities
There are total 9 hostel 7 for boys and 2 for girls. In 1st and 2nd year we have to accomodate with a partner in a room afterward personal rooms are provided. Hostel are ossum and well maintained because of it's cleanliness We have to register for next hostel every year
Admission
I have got this college as per my score in jee and choices which I have filled im josaa councelling although. I was thinking about nit kurukshetra's to opt mechanical branch but its seat closed before my rank. Admission process is smooth I have got this college in my 2nd round of josaa afterward I paid the fees and then physically reported at college and submit docs and paid the rest fees.
Faculty
I am a student of 1st semester so I have less idea about the professors. Even in my 1st sem I got to know that some of my faculty counts under 2% of best professors in the world. I liked R.V Rao sir very much because of him teaching style and students engagement. Even we can discuss our personal problems to the faculty and some suggestions and advise. There are 4 exam per semester mid sem, end sem,and 2 class test of 10 marks one before mid sem and one after mid sem. There is less no. of students who fails but they strictly follows 75% attendance they downs the grade if we can't manage attendance.
Night Life
The main gate of campus closes at 11pm after then students are not allowed to go out of the campus but we can still walk in our campus since 1st yearitis intime in 1st sem is 7:30pm and after 1st sem it gets shift to 9pm Een separate gyms are present in each hostel Our college have an well maintained gym central gym for all students
