A journey worth sharing

It provides ambient environment for studies and practices much needed to become a good doctor. It is 80 kms far from Nagpur. Location is excellent to study and enjoy during weekends. Faculty and seniors support a lot which makes it easy.

We don't have semester system exams. We have yearly exams held and now I am appearing for my First year MBBS exams. The curriculum is very exhaustive. We are so busy with our lectures and practicals that we hardly get to engage in other activities.

Being doctor is next to God. The best part is that doctors are self employed. The successful ones are an industry in themselves. Yes our college provides one year compulsory internship which is a part of our undergraduate course. Since I am in 1st year, I don't know the stipend amount.

It is expensive as it is a deemed university. It changes every year with respect to cutoff and ranks. For my batch it is 20 lakhs per annum. But the facility and environment is worth it. It is much high than government medical college.

Yes there are many. From teaching scholarship to the hospital working in association with it, everything has a loan facility which even the rural people can afford. I don't have much knowledge about this as I am in 1st year. We get to know about all this in 2nd year.

We have a gym, swimming pool, guest house for parents of the students, a well maintained park and an extremely green and beautiful campus. We have a sports meet every year with different sports club for girls and boys.

Yes I am in hostel. It charges me 1 lakh per annum. Mess is good which costs 35,000 per annum and electricity bill is separately paid. Rooms are double seated and cleanliness is regularly maintained.

Seniors are extremely helpful. Our campus is a zero ragging campus with zero tolerance. Seniors are very friendly and support us much during exams. They provide us with important topics and previous years questions.

Through NEET. Marks were given along with our general ranks and then central counseling through MCI. Then merit list was formed and seat was allotted according to respective marks. This is a deemed university so it doesn't matter which category you belong.

This is a deemed university. So the teaching faculty is very motivating, inspiring and hard working talented doctors. They all have gone through the same process and this gives us a highly experienced faculty.
