Remarks
I'm very neutral about the college. There are various things to be looked by the college like the canteen facilities and the Xerox facilities. They charge way too much. They're not affordable at all. College should keep an eye on them.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is quite good. We have diversified subjects. The first year is just about understanding the basic concepts of engineering and thus one subject from each branch is covered. It helps to gain an overview.
Placement Experience
Placements are good. Almost every student gets placed if he fulfills the required criteria of having a GPA above 5 and 1-2 backlogs. Internships depend on branch to branch and so does the stipend for the internship.
College Events
There are technical as well as non-technical events that take place in the college throughout the year. There are various clubs in the college which organize these events. It's a lot of fun participating in them.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is average as compared to other private universities. But recently their has been quite a hike in their policies due to which the fee has increased way too much. Still it's a good college so scholarships are there.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are various scholarship programs offered by college. But that all depends on the merit rank and some of them depends on the annual income of your parent. If you fulfill any of these criteria then their is handful of scholarship to be availed.
Campus Life
Labs and all are good. Obviously funding is not that much as compared to IITs but it is growing and the network is increasing. Sports facilities are there but not upto the mark for the brand name Nirma.
Alumni/Alumna
This is one of best thing offered by college. They have a huge alumni network connected through a single portal. They have diversified interests and some of them guide you for your career and might even help in landing a job.
Admission
Merit lists are prepared according to the AIR of JEE mains examination and then counselling process starts. Three to Four merit lists are prepared and then according to your merit number your counseling date is allotted
Faculty
Faculties are quite experienced and they have a wide range of experience in their field. It's quite worthy talking to them about subjects as well as problems other than college. There are mentoring sessions which helps a lot.
