Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course is going good and we are been trained in all the aspects we can. Regular assessment is being conducted with comprehensive exams and fair conduct of regular tests. Weekly assignments are been given to check our understanding of the topic.

Internships Opportunities

5

In the 5th year of our course we are bond to do an internship of 1 year in the hospital associated with our college. I cannot comment on the salary and the working hours of duty as am not well exposed to the programme yet.

Fees and Financial Aid

My college, a deemed university, operates on a fee structure of 19 lakhs per academic year for the 4.5-year program. This fee aligns with the comprehensive medical facilities provided to students. Importantly, the fee remains constant throughout the 4.5 years for our inaugural deemed batch, ensuring predictability in financial planning. While the fee structure is generally considered competitive within the context of private medical education, there is an NRI quota with a higher fee of 26 lakhs. This quota caters to international students and those who may not meet the stringent academic requirements (e.g., NEET scores below 300) typically expected for admission to private medical colleges.

Campus Life

5

I am happy with my improvement of social life in this campus. Interacting with people here in the campus improves my overall social skills and communication skills. The social life here is a good vibe for students.

Hostel Facilities

4

Accommodation is good. The room quality matches the expectation levels. Its spacious and I am living in a 3 sharing room and it has adequate space for 3 of us. The mess food is good but sometimes oil is a concern. The oil is too much in the food. I hope they improve the food quality.

Admission

Other colleges do provide arrangements for festivals for students residing in the campus. Our college couldn't meet my personal expectation for this topic. They should arrange something for students to not let them feel homesick in the hostels.

Faculty

4

For the first 2 weeks of our entry in the medical college we were enrolled in a 2 week foundation course where the medical education faculty interacted with us and they were really friendly and supportive to us. The faculty of our 1st year batch is well trained to teach us.

Interview Experience

5

My admission process took 7 hours but it was a smooth process with 2 rounds one of verificationa nd the other of the interview by the dean of yhe college. The interbiew was good and the document verfication process was good.

Night Life

1

No nightlife available. Our intime in girls hostel is 9:00pm. We are not allowed to roam in the campus post 9 pm. We javen't explored the nightlife here yet. We need the freedom to explore it with permissions regarding safety issues.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The fact that this course provides you a very dignitorial position in society attracts me the most into it. The financial benefits are also quite impressive. The curriculum extending for 5.5 years provides you all the required knowledge to practice as a general doctor in the country. There is a total of 19 subjects for 4.5 years in total. 1 year rotatory internship in various clinical department in affiliated hospital gives you very good clinical exposure also. The internship here is stipended by ?26000-/- per month. Every year mcc is renewing the syllabus according to to demands of indian medical system. Frequency of exams are quite adjustable upto rth year. 4th year is quite hectic and tiring with syllabus.
