Course Curriculum Overview

4

Coarse is good specially chemistry honours with the industrial microbiology (optional) Coarse is full of practicals which gives you knowledge to work in labs which is a good job opportunity. They should increase the timing of classes.

Internships Opportunities

3

Internship opportunities are more for pg students than ug student. College gives you opportunity for internships in ongoing research projects in college. For bsc program there not many companies for internships. But there are job opportunity in the field of education, educational institutions like Akash, Physics Walla and also local colleges visits for teaching faculty.

Fees and Financial Aid

I was selected for Chemistry honours program, the the semester fee is Rs. 235 per semester and admission fee is Rs3150 or 2850 ( category wise) . For manegement seats you have to pay approx Rs 20000 extra during admission. After this you have to pay nothing for regular exams or anything else. There is no increment in tution or other fees. For hostel, if you are selected, you have to pay 4850 rupees after allotment and 1750 rupees per year onwards. After government scholarship there are separate scholarship schemes for economically weaker students ( Rs30000 per year) and disabled students. These students can get free of cost food in hostel after getting selected in these schemes.

Campus Life

4

There is Annual function named Aakansha , full of music programs dance and other activities, Physical competition also held few weeks before Aakansha. It is held in winters ( november). Bhu had a great crntral library which is the largest library of asia . There is also separate departmental library. Classrooms are equipped with black board , projector, good quality ventilation and fans.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostels are free of hidden charges like electricity , water etc. Each rooms have bed , fan, table, chair, cupboard, window and doors. Mess are not that much good in each hostel . But cost of food are affordable Rs 50 per person. In local you can get pg in 5-7 k range and rooom 2k- 3k

Admission

I was also opportunated Shri Venkateswara College Delhi University, but due High living cost in Delhi and less scientific work of college i like to go with BHU. Rejection charges of Delhi University was 1000 rupees. Which was affordable. Admission process is via CUET , After submitting 100 rupees of councelling fee accordingly your score you can get a course in bhu

Faculty

3

Faculty and students Ratio is approx 1:2 , which provides a good interaction with faculty members. Some faculty members are from south they are good in behaviour but there english is little bit tuff to understand. Senior faculty are very good due to there experience they can understand your feelings and what you want to say and what you expect from them. Per semester there is one mid semester exam and one final semester exam. And if you are taking daily classes then you can easily deal with them.

Night Life

5

In campus there are many open gyms which are also available in night, library is 24 hours open and during sunday and holiday library timing is 5am to 10 :55pm Hostel gates are 24×7 open . Main gate of campus always are open .So you can go for parties rtc.

Other Applied Colleges

Delhi University - [DU] | Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] {Hons.} (Zoology)

High PG/ hostel cost , and less scientific achievements of college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

According to me you should choose Brahmanand College but as I wanted more practicals then theory work but it is not like that here because you get more time to study and practicals were less .Exams' timings were sometimes morning, afternoon so you will have to manage yourself accordingly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'd rate the curriculum 4/5. Topics like programing and data structures are super relevant.it prepares us for tech roles, but could include more hands on projects and industry tools. More focus on emerging tech like Ai /ML would be awesome. Exams are semester wise and okay.areas for improvement: internships, coding challenges, and guest lectures from pros. Solid foundation overall !

Course Curriculum Overview:

As the faculty teachers and all the staff was very good and the faculty teachers of the science were very fabulous in education causes me to choose this course... The curriculum here was in terms of social interaction was ok but it was not that good for the future real world academic pursuits as their were not that much activities for the social appearance... In terms of course curriculum and teaching method this college doesn't need much improvements because it is much better according to teaching method , as the teachers were good in terms of teaching... The timing and frequency was having much gap between one semester exam and the other semester exam , so there were not much difficulty in giving exams according to my perspective...
