Remarks

I applied for this college taking its reputation and placement opportunities in mind. I admited in the college by my rank in EAPCET. I didn't apply for any other colleges. Vignan was my first preference.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is good. It has all the basics and needed topics of mechanical engineering. Various subjects like dynamics of machinery, kinematics of machinery, Mechanics of solids, thermodynamics, heat transfer etc., are included in the curriculum which are very crucial for an mechanical engineer

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 52000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Most of the companies that come for placement drive gives internship opportunities too. The stipend generally ranges from 10000 to 18000. After completing the internship we can opt to leave the company or continue the job(depends on the company).

Placement Experience

There are many placement opportunities in the college. Recently we had Infosys campus drive and around 110 students got selected. Prior to that we had Accenture drive too and many got shortlisted for interview round. We also had Tata advanced systems drive recently.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees I paid for my Bachelor of technology course in Mechanical engineering is 52000 rupees.I have joined this college in 2021 and I will pass out in 2025. The fees structure has changed for the next batches. There are scholarships like JVD available in the college.

Campus Life

The campus life is good. We have events like ViSTA and Yuvatarang, which is the biggest event conducted in the college. It is conducted in the first month of the year. We also extra curricular activities like dancing, singing etc., and also sporting events are conducted

Faculty

The faculty is good. They clarify any doubts regarding the subject. The exam conducted are - weekly test, mid exams and final semester exams.The weekly test will be held every week on one particular day. There will be two mid exams covering first half of the syllabus and second half of the syllabus.

Night Life

We have two canteens and a library. There are many books available in the library. We also have digital library. The college timings are 8:00am to 3:00pm for one batch and 10:00am to 5:00pm for another batch

1. From third year second semester students become eligible for college placements. 2. Companies visited are Cisco, Infosys and Accenture they are combined gave around 121 offers. 3. The highest package is 36 lpa and the average package is 7 lpa and lowest package is 3-5 lpa. 4. The percentage of students got placed are 80%. 5. My plans after getting college degree is to get a high paying job in a reputable company.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chose mechanical (robotics). As they euipped with new equipment's of robotics I have inspired a lot and chose to go with this course. This course helps to understand the mechanical engineering an also robotics. It helps us to understand about the mechanism in hardware. It helps to understand about robot infrastructure and about drones. For this course if there is more depth in robotics subjects than it can better. The frequency and timing is good as they maintain a certain period of time gap between the exams and the difficulty level is also good. If studied for a week we can understand up to some level and have a chance to pass the exams.

I had applied to different colleges in visakhapatnam with my eapcet rank. In addition to vignan, I had applied for Gayatri vidya parishad college and ANITS college and also AU engineering college in visakhapatnam.
