BJ Medical College is indeed one of the best medical college of the india. With great faculty and amazing exposure to indefinite number of patients. it is one of the prestigious institute of the country.

The course curriculum is too vast to be covered. But the college faculty helps us to get through it. Exams include - Internal exams (term exams), Prelims, University Exams. All exams consists of a theory part and a practical part. Internal Exams are 6 month apart. In 1st year, for anatomy part ending exams are taken every 1-1.5 month and periodic exams every 2-3 month.

The college is affiliated to Civil Hospital, Ahmedabad. It is the third largest hospital in the world and first in Asia. The stipend offered to the students during internships is varied. For UG, it was more than Rs. 15,000, and for PG, it was more than Rs. 60,000. Students also get one of the best exposures to numerous and also rare patients making them capable enough.

there are two major events. 1. BJ Beats - Annual fest of BJ MEDICAL COLLEGE Ahmedabad. It is one of the largest fest of medical college in the western zone of the country. It is a 4day/4night event, organised by 2nd year students in May last week. 2000-3000 students from all over gujarat attend the fest 2.Beats Concourse - Annul medical conference of BJ Medical College for Under graduates.

the college fees is 25000 per year. for first year it is of 25000, 2nd year iss of 1.5 year so the fees is 37500, and for third year it is 50000 (2years) Fees are to be paid before the starting of the year. It is not expensive at all. Hostel fees is 1200 per year ( 100/month). A gymkhana fees is also taken which cost 750/year.

Scholarship is available for Economically Weaker sections, and for students of SEBC, SC, ST. Free books and subsidized college fee is granted to such students. Apart from this, various other scholarship are available from the government of gujarat.

Badminton Court, Cricket ground, Basketball court are there in college. indoor games include Chess, Carrom and various other games. Academic labs include various weel equipped and modern museums, laboratory of biochemistry, pathology, microbiology, anatomy, physiology.

BJ Medical College have one of the best hostel. Hostels have 24*7 water and electricity supply. Two canteens are present in the campus. And Mess is present at walking distance from hostel. Hostel are new and the campus have concrete roads and immense greenery. The hostel also have well equipped Fire safety equipment like Water hose and fire extinguisher, safety alarm.

Numerous professor are alumni of the college itself. Also many notable doctor across the world are alumni of the college. Seniors are great. ragging is not done. They help us with almost everything from clearing our doubts, helping during exams to organising fest, and other events of the college.

Admission is granted on the basis of rank/marks scored in NEET UG. There are two quotas - 1. All India Quota - 15% of total seats. 2. State Quota - 85% of total seats. NEET UG is the common entrance test across the country in order to get admission in Medical College. Based on the marks obtained and rank secured a state merit list is prepared and accordingly the admission/ seat is obtained. I secured my seat through 15% AIQ.

B.J. Medical College, Ahmedabad, is considered to be a prestigious institute because of one of the factors being the teaching staff. The college has one of the best professors.
