Remarks
I think negative remarks might be low when compared to other colleges in the city. The positive things are more and the college follows strict policies which are formulated by it. It don't promote gender separation.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choosed Mechatronics course in engineering. Which one of the toughest courses in engineering wings. Since in deals with both the machines and electronic devices.I struggled a bit in the starting of my curriculum due to the exam patterns and completion of a semester in 4-5 months.
Placement Experience
My college has a separate placement department. Currently our college is the top educational institute in Placements of the students. We have received an award for that from our honorable president of india.
College Events
The major celebrated in our college is Hilaricas and Hinspire which are celebrated in the month of February and March. In which top celebrities will participate and entertain our students. Also other major festivals are celebrated by us.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Its feasible for both the Anna university and autonomous batchs of our college. Mostly 80000-150000 per year which varies from day scholar students to hostel students. Since the institution is one of top institutions in the city, I think this fees structure is feasible.
Fees and Financial Aid
My college offers 100% scholarship for students who have cleared the 12th examination with an cutoff of minimum 190. They also provide 50% scholarship for students having cutoff mark of above 185-190.
Campus Life
Our college always been a support for extracurricular activities and sports. Our college has cricket club, basketball club, music club, NCC, NSS, etc. In which the students form a committee and serve the society.
Hostel Facilities
No I am a day scholar student. Since my colleagues or my friends who stay in college hostels always speak out their comfort in the city and the college hostels. Even my other friends who are opposite gender have no complaints about it.
Alumni/Alumna
Our college have build a strong alumni network. They are really helpful. The stand as an example for us to how to stay connected for so long among them and with our college and they are in good positions and some have started their own company and their recruiting our students.
Admission
I applied for Tamilnadu engineering admission(TNEA) in the year 2015 which was held in Anna university Chennai and I have been shortlisted as 65253 rank holder. I was informed to attend my engineering counselling on 17 of July 2015. I attended the counselling and selected Hindusthan college of engineering and technology in Coimbatore.
Faculty
My college is situated in outskirts of the Coimbatore city and in a beautiful location. The faculties who deal with our subjects are really knowledgeable persons since they teach us and also learn from us.
